I really enjoyed watching your video, Ashley! I love your style, and you choose patterns that suit you perfectly! Thank you so much for mentioning me and my pattern in your video-I truly appreciate you participating in the pattern test!❤
Thank you so much Sara! I've always loved your style and was so excited to test sew for you! I'll definitely be making more of your patterns in the future.
C'est magnifique!! Thank you for bringing us to Paris I loved it. You looked amazing in all your me-made outfits. I am partial to the Little Red Vest ensemble though!!
Merci beaucoup! So glad you could tag along with me on my adventures! Do you get to do many overseas flights? I imagine they would be long work days but the places you could visit would be so exciting!
Loved this video and favourite outfit was your coat/dress ❤ I visited France this summer and also made a capsule wardrobe with Atelier Brunette fabrics ❤
Oh wow, that sounds like an incredible capsule wardrobe! It's such a fun way to get yourself excited for the upcoming trip and then your clothing items have such great memories attached to them!
Beautiful job on your projects. I've been sewing for over sixty years, including some years of making custom clothing for clients. You could sew another line of topstitching on your pockets closer to the edge so that you can't see the roll-out. Cotton canvas is a lint magnet! You could have made the too-short skirt a design element by putting a line of piping in the seam where the piece was added to the bottom. You can also put a tighter patch pocket under a larger pocket to make your cell phone sit in a tighter pocket where it's more secure. The inner pocket can also have a tab with a snap closure.
Good ideas! That's something that I love about making our own clothes, there are countless ways to adapt and modify to make them truly unique and our own! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. :)
Great video! Thanks for sharing all the great shops! What yarn did you use for your brown sweater? Noro something? Also where in Victoria can you get that French yarn?

Glad you enjoyed it Sharon! I used Noro Sonata for the DRK Everyday sweater held with one strand of mohair. I stumbled across it at a thrift store here in Victoria (7 skeins of it!!). And the French yarn company is called De Rerum Natura, The Beehive carries a few of their bases. They would made a beautiful sweater!
It's called the Bowret, by Sachiko Burgin. Here's the link: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bowret It's such a quick, fun little knit. Great for gifts too!
Thank you for the video ❤ Приятно смотреть на индивидуальный стиль! Вы прекрасны и ваша одежда ещё больше подчеркивает вашу красоту!
Спасибо за добрые слова. Я рад, что вам понравилось смотреть.

What great makes and what fun to have Me Made memories added to your trip. I love #3, but #6 is quite French looking.
Thank you! I had so much fun leaning into the French look!
Liked all of your outfits, but especially the red vest (No 3)
Thanks so much! I think I will get a lot of wear out of that one!
