2.0 Patch disables you getting the credit for the kill, when ramming an opponent.
To be honest, I'd rather see RB and SB tactics, arcade is a simple shoot 'em up clusterfuck and there isn't much to it
Tom Francis Well. It's not strictly true. You can do what I do (and many other people do) witch is to again altitude supremacy and just boom and zoom the hell out of everything. 9/10 you will get at least 10 kills per game using that tactic. But yeah, I would like to see RB/SB too.
AB is just for start, but later it's stupid and boring! War Thunder has 2 more mods than WoWp, so lets better show the RB and SB!

I mean its good if you dont have much time to play the game, its fast paced and quick.
This is a pretty good video for beginners, but when I'm playing (These apply better in Sim battles.), I follow the German's rules of engagement:
Make sure the sun is behind you to blind the enemies, always attack their six, follow through with your attack instead of flying away, surprise the enemy whenever you can, ensure a hit by getting as close as you must to place your cross-hairs on them, always watch an enemy until his death is confirmed, and always, *always* be aware of your surroundings, especially over enemy lines.
8:26 that is very true, like 2 mates i know in one rb match were the last ones alive on the allied team and had to verse 10 remainin enemies in p40s, it was long but they worked together and won the game killing all enemies, one of em even came out with 7 kills
1)Goes headon with a fockewulf 2)Stall your own plane out when there are eenemies 3)Killsteal 4)Calls the thunderbolt a clumsy airplane, ya it is a clumsy airplane in AB, but in RB where speed and altitude matters more than turnrate, you should at least say the thunderbolt is clumsy and shitty in AB but glorious in RB, provided the player sideclimbs and knows how to aim and doesn't turnfight, but Murica fanboys gonna turnfight anyway lol.

Why not you just...make it for SB or RB? those tactics are really needed in this mode.
Please increase the bomber spawn altitude in arcade battles.
An enemy fighter plane can always very easily go to 3000 alt and kill bombers. Sometimes i get spawnkilled as a bomber. Increase it to like 5000, or you could move the bomber spawn point so bombers can gain altitude over time, that would be boring though.
sergeant mavri Not really, in RB I crashed a bf109 with thunderbolt's wing and survived.
I have used FW 200 in loads of realistic battles and the chance of me or my gunners shooting down a fighter is 1/100. When i have been lucky, the person chasing me made a mistake and rammed me. I just replaced it with He H16 so i can have better defense.
@Lucas Kroon just stay away from the battle until you’re at about 9000+ (at least that’s what I do with a rank 2)

HAHA Zero is better suited for high speed dogfight than thunderbolt. What a joke, zoero gets freakin heavy and low responsive on high speeds. Great tutorial lol
Dunno, but hes misleading ppl, Zero is horrible in manuvering at high speeds thats a fact. P47 is sluggish at low speeds, but handles way better at high speed than Zero:p Anyway AB=ufo syndrome :)

Pior que sim man, War Thunder é um jogo sensacional, mas, infelizmente ta muito alto o ping e sempre que meu tanque colide com algo o PL vai às alturas. Acho que sobre o ping, resolveria se a Gaijin colocasse um servidor mais perto do Brasil. :/

No one attacks ground units lol. Every match in AB RB is just everyone smashing into each other in the middle of the map. Rarely is there anyone actually bombing because the main way the game was intended to be played isn't explained or done by anyone. Ground Attack missions are supposed to be bombers bombing targets and fighters defending them, but it is always just fighters and attack and intercept aircraft all rushing for the center of the map to try and get their 1 kill in before they die. Anyone who chooses to bomb always ends up being a lone target for enemies to easily pick off. So you see less and less as tiers go up.
Quick tip. When your opponent show most of its broad side. That's when you hold the trigger. But if the opponent is going too fast. Then burst fire

You know very well that a lot of german cannons dont do a lot of damage, gaijiin.
I say, either tells us more about them so we can use them, or fix their damage characteristics.
HP McDoogle and yet the german cannons with stealth ammo are the most op cannons in the game even after the muzzle velocity nerf a month or so back...
HP McDoogle Is your aim the best it can be? It's possible that you're not getting enough kills because you're just not hitting anything. turn on your tracers maybe and practice a bit more. Try aiming a bit farther ahead. When you're more comfortable, turn on stealth/air targets and you'll wreck.
I am watching your hit points and see much higher rewards for each hit than the rewards I get....the other day I got one hit and 7 points for it I noticed

Because Yak-7b is shit! Stop playing soviet planes in tutorials! Undertiered planes aren't a good example of showing tactics. Not all planes have rockets. Rather fly those weak planes.

+PantherArc an overload is when a pilots blood is pulled away from his head during a high G turn or manoeuvre, causing him to black out and lose control of the aircraft .
