During the first Corona lockdown in Israel Motty Steinmetz did a livestream concert to support Am Yisrael. He used the opportunity to say encouraging words from the bottom of his heart. He started by talking about visiting patients in hospitals and singing for them. Then he shared about how he had spent the Leil Haseder of Pesach with his family. At the end he told a very touching story - from the Holocaust - behind his song "VeOmar BaYom Hahu".

Covid lockdown was werry difficult but also a little bit of fun I was actually also positive 2 years ago I think on October and November and I felt really sick. It's called a shtreimel, once a Hasidic Jewish man marries he begins to wear one on Shabbat and on holidays and special occasions. They're based on the general fur hats of Europe but they are made of Fox fur, in some places Jews had to wear animal tails so they decided if they had to wear that they might as well make hat look big and grand to show off their pride.
