Felicidades Riccardo! (That's Spanish, anyway...) The draw a horse task was great. The miming one was really funny, mostly because I didn't have to make any guesses. I did guess Traffic Cop and I guessed writing instead of coloring.
Teresa really went in with the animal noises in this one, haha. Irene had fantastic banter. Frederica was really funny in recorded tasks. And poor, poor Rizzieri. 😂 Great job, everyone!

You did a great job at guessing Traffic Cop! Irene spent hours talking about trains 😂Federica is great on her own, yeah; a bit shy in studio, but she'd never met the others so that's fine. She reminds me of Katy Wix.
Y estoy seguro tu español va a mejorar en poco tiempo! Tenía los primeros dos episodios subtitulados en español también, pero ninguno los utilizaba, entonces he preferido eliminarlos.
Thanks for the comments, hope you'll have a great week! 😄

YES, very Katy Wix. Si, gracias. Ahh, entiendo. Preferarlo en inglés, verdad. Cuando más gente viene de TMMN, creo que la mayoría quieren leer en inglés también.
      ¡Gracias, igualmente!

You betcha! The second serie will come out next July - you can see a clue at the end of one of my other videos, the extrapolated task "draw a horse like a 4y old".
Thanks for watching and have a great day!

@Strim.In-Game that’s great news. I got a bit sidetracked watching your special appearance on TM MN but I'm heading to the extended version of the drawing task now!

@@Strim.In-Game General positives about the show:
      1. Everyone looked authentically like they were having fun. Maybe there were some nerves at "performing" in front of a camera, but it came across as good vibes overall.
      2. I thought you did well as the Taskmaster; specifically in how quickly you gave out scores with explanations as to why do chose the way you did. I don't remember having too many disagreements with them.
      3. The subtitles were essential for me and well-appreciated. That probably took a lot of extra work, so thank you.
      General observations about the show:
      1. I like how you added in something new (at least I've never seen) with the commercials. I don't know if I understood all the layers of them humor, but I like that you tried something different.
      2. I think some of my criticisms might be in large part because I didn't pay close attention or just missed something in the translation, so that's something that may fluctuate from culture to culture depending on your (worldwide) audience.
      Criticisms about the show:
      1. There were a few tasks where I didn't fully understand the instructions. Again, that's probably mostly on me (and maybe the instructions need to stay vague so the players have freedom of interpretation). For example, constructing the path for the toy car I assumed it was for the car to actually be released and move through of its own power via gravity. And the miming verses I was confused on because I thought it meant no sounds at all, just visuals--like charades. The Belgian student confused me a lot (mainly because I didn't take into account the "change" of the rules with the one player (I'm sorry I can't remember which one), so the nods and shakes reverted back. Again, that's on me.
      2. Also, I thought some of the pacing slowed down a little too much, but that's maybe a personal preference. Two examples that come to mind are the toy car path construction and Rizzieri's 3-minute thinking session of the exceptional sentence.
      3. I don't know anything about video/audio, so take this with a grain of salt, but there were a few scenes that looked like there was more motion blur than intended? And as for the sound, it seemed fine to me overall; but since I was reading the dialogue, I didn't have to have as much clarity of sound.
      4. I wasn't sure, but it seemed like you had to guide them with minor hints every now and then. This is a very small criticism because I think it's probably very challenging to make sure you keep the spirit of the task intact while ensuring your players don't get _too_ frustrated.
      Specific favorites:
      1. I appreciated Irene's adopted character (even though I temporarily had forgotten it and wondered why you kept calling her _ma'am_ ). lol I also liked Rizzieri's clown nose.
      2. I like it when players think laterally and loved it when Teresa turned the Boggle over instead of initially lifting the lid. Nice!
      3. I liked the use of zooming camera shots to show potential broken rules (the lone loo roll beside the walkway).
      4. I laughed out loud at Rizzieri's toy car roll "between" the two lines.
My favorite contestant was Riccardo because his smile, personality and general charisma won me over early and never went away.
Rough rankings of the tasks (Favorite to least favorite):
      1. Raise Your Hand at 100 (I LOVED that you included a series of tasks during it so that the players couldn't just keep silent count.)
      2. Lift The Lid (I like the mind games required since they knew there was a second task inside).
      3. Draw a Horse (It reminded me of a similar game that Guy Montgomery did on his Spelling Bee show where he asks players to spell words in the way a 5th grader would).
      4. Transport the Loo Rolls
      5. Move the Chair
      6. Roll the Toy Car Between the Two Lines
      7. Lecherous Launchings (In general, I think your players did well. I think I like what Minnesota David did by getting rid of them for each episode and sometimes included a "prize" for an episode winner based on the tasks performed that particular episode.
      8. Take a Picture of a Yellow Car/Machine (I like that you included something over a longer period of time--even though two players dropped the ball... lol)
      9. Italian Alphabet (actually a lot more difficult than I thought it was going to be)
      10. Guess the Animal (I don't know if the Belgian clue was enough for them to know something was odd about the situation and I'm not sure if there was enough clarity at then end to know when they were done; I love the idea, though, of basically "He'll always answer your questions negatively")
      11. Mime in verses
      12. Construction of a Path for a Toy Car
All being said, I'm sure it takes TONS of time, effort, coordination and patience to pull something like this off. You should be very proud, because it was very well done! 😁

Wow, that's one hell of a review!
Just to reply to some of the things,
      1. I DO think subtitles are important, both for hard of hearing and foreigners, so I'm actually right now working on making them better.
      2. I did some tests before, but series 1 is completely zero-budget and zero-knowledge at all; that's why I messed up Riccardo's car path, ending with that looking like a blurred Wong Kar-Wai movie ahah.
      3. Lol Rizzieri's throw of the car "between" the two lines is my favourite moment too. So impetuous.
      4. This is something I discussed a lot with David Ha, 'cause I actually like the prize tasks: I think, if done well, it breaks the ice and helps showing every character's style before the pre-recorded tasks.
Thank you so much for your comments, it really means a lot to me. Have a great start of the week!!
