They did a good job casting Lulu..she looks every bit like she's Laura's daughter. But putting Luke with Tracy was nuts. Why did they have to ruin such a good character?
@@KDL861 I still think the writers shouldve had more sense. Actors want to play different parts all the time, and I don't blame them. But the show itself should come first. Without good regular fans there'll be no show for long.
Sandy Juntunen I agree that Luke and Laura were made for each other and should’ve stayed that way. But the show has lasted just fine with the storylines up to now. In fact, GH is the only soap left except Y&R and B&B. And the sponsorships/commercial advertisers are very happy. 😢
@@KDL861 Don't forget Days. TG didn't want to live up to the "expectations" of LnL anymore b/c of what she & GF reminded him of. (the crazy fans in the 80s) GF deserved better anyway after his words in several interviews & so now she has it.

I think Geary thought the audience would embrace this new chapter in Luke's life. I hated it. It is depressing. Tracy is a selfish, horrible excuse for a human being. Perhaps Luke was also
I know that Tracy can be really vindictive and selfish..but she has a good heart even though at times especially in the past when its covered by her tough facade.I can't help but love that character and its so sad to see Tracy hurting like that because you don't expect that from her.I know that L&L are HUGE and I like them but I am a fan of L&K.That dynamic pair(AG and JE) are so different then others and so entertaining to watch no matter what kind of scene it is! Brilliance at its best!
Luke loves Laura, but its the fantasy of Laura that hes in love with. What being with her means, that he good and a family man ect..(like when sonny was with emily) but hes a better match with Tracy! Like she said he can be his total self, flaws and no unbelievable expectations.
Luke was with Tracy in the beginning & throughout their marriage for the money. The often got drunk together & all that. He has kids w/Laura, lifetime traveling adventures. LnT doesn't hold a candle to Lnl.

Luke seems lost, and pathetic without Laura.
Luke told Laura, she was the love of his life, and that has been so.
Laura said Luke seemed peaceful. To me he seems sad and resigned.

Luke & Skye were a favorite of mine too tbh. Lnl is #1 though. Too much rich history.
