Luke & Laura Reunite With Their Family
November 10th, 2008
Lucky, Lulu and Nikolas find Luke and Laura and they reunite. They wait for the helicopter to arrive.
Meanwhile, Tracy and Scott wait impatiently for Luke, Laura and the kids to return.
Laura and Tracy come face to face and Laura thanks her for taking care of Lulu.
They should have NEVER broken the L&L bond...for ANY reason. And I wish they'd find there way back still. The story-lines in the past 5 years that supposedly "explain" Luke's "evolving in new directions", his "so-called love for Tracy" and L&L "no longer fitting"...goes against ALL they built and proclaimed over the years. They present it as more "real" to life than the old fantasy of L&L, but it actually rings less true than anthing. Bring back L&L...yes...STILL..ALWAYS!
About 3:40 through about 4:00 - Anthony Geary is so in character. Whenever Luke feels vulnerable, especially with Laura, he tends to wrap his arms tight to his body. If you look at any of the past videos in all of the years with LnL, you'll see this consistently. Here we are, 2 years since they've been on screen together and he falls right into it. Dang, we need Luke back with Laura.
I have seen comments before and since. The way he kisses her is vastly different than when he is with others. Their chemistry still works and probably always will.
I gag at the kiss! I watched gh as a teen and I still see the rape and song rise!!🤮🤮🤮🤮
That L&L kiss proves that they still love AND want each other ... and that Luke WANTS Laura and loves her as his soulmate, and NOT just as the mother of his children. GH needs Genie back ... and Luke belongs with Laura, for always!
Tracy is very jealous . You can tell Luke really loves Laura and I think Tracy knows that. I would never want to be with someone who loves someone more then me. I would let them go. That would be the thing to do.

If only Tracy had walked in on them during that kiss ... that would have told her once and for all who Luke truly loves. Then this Lunacy mess would be over once and forever ... and L&L would be maintaining their thrones in soap supercoupledom : ).

Thanks for cropping the Spencer Reunion together over these last few days. It makes it nicer to watch.
I want Luke to pick Laura so bad. If he stay with tracy I swear I won't be able to stand watching the show anymore. It's their love (luke/Laura) that keeps me coming back for more.

Luke explains why he loves Tracy and how their marriage has been. He grow to her love her out of respect for her because she helped save him when he had the heart attack I believe it was. Understandable. But its all about what will make you happy, not some duty or obligation of love. I can't say for sure that's what it is. But Luke and Laura still hold the torch for each other. Life's tough, but time is too short not to be with the person you truly love. Is that Tracy or just afraid with Laura?
Jane Elliott/Tracy is TG's best friend in real life. I'm sure he pushed to have a storyline together with her. But marriage? All they do is bicker, and sometimes kiss. It makes no sense for them to be married, at least to me. They spar very well, and they're great as enemies/frenemies/whatever. But, oh well. If that's what TG wants, that's what he gets. And Laura is a grown woman now, with her own identity. She isn't the teenager Luke was obsessed with, obsessed enough to rape. An ugly fact, but true. TG was always bothered by that. Frankly, so was I. Their relationship wasn't supposed to bloom into love. He was signed to a 13 week contract as a seedy guy with mob ties to Frank Smith, the kingpin of crime in Port Charles. He was so charismatic and such a good actor that GH fans loved him in spite of what he did to Laura. GH was on the brink of cancellation. He resuscitated it, along with Gloria Monty. Thus, the beginning of L & L.
ITA what the hell was he thinking the beginning of this clipp says it all (that KISS) The magic is still threre! cant believe he didnt go off to be with her .
WHEN Genie Francis leaves/ retire Laura Webber, GH writers have a decision to make. Either Laura leave ALONE, with Kevin or with Luke. I want either Alone or Luke.
I agree with you. I'd love it to be with Luke to make everything come full-circle for them, but there is a 15 year age gap between Luke and Laura. Genie Frances is turning 59 today and Luke will turn 74 on Saturday.... such a shame...
Didnt TG insist the writers have him killed in an accident in Switzerland? Tracy came back to tell everyone. He did this because he did not want the possibility of being brought back..

Well so many years have passed and we know that Luke and Tracy got divorced. They brought TG back for one scene where they meet in a bar and he doesnt say a word, just raises his glass to her.
Luke and Laura all the way, although I like Tracy, I don't want her with Luke, he will always belong to Laura.
And Tracey wherr did that comr from These were the worst GH days and now nothing compares with 1979 annd esrly 80s Tracey should go back where she belongs never in this story line thats for sure
@brinkgrl I would love to see that happen as well. Let Tracy see what we see.
If only they had had one more day in that cabin! Imagine what would have happened. And now that Mr. Geary has retired, it seems there is no hope. Plus, they butchered this with 2013 and 2015. Strung everyone along as if they might be reunited, but left us all hanging....oh, well, thank goodness it's just TV!

Take her out Laura! (JK, i like Tracy) I just feel like that last couple of lines were ones that are said right before the women take their earrings off and tie back their hair b4 a fight. LOL
This is so stupid! What the hell is Luke doing with Tracy? Yuk! General Hospital is making a huge mistake taking Laura away again. I am not watching GH until she comes back. What she and Luke have together is what makes the show anything else, boooooooring!
It wad never the same when they brought in a new Lucky and ended the Stefan issue then GH went down hill and recent even worse

They never work with anyone else. These two people drew 30 million people. She will never work with anyone but Luke. Same for Luke. No Cassidines.

If Genie would of been appreciated the way she should of been she would still be on GH. She said in interviews she was tired of the Laura character after JJ left and the character of Lucky got killed. That's also when they replaced Nikolas with another actor and brought in the other Lucky and broke up her relationship with Stefan. After all they went through she just dumped him period which was the worst writing ever. I couldn't watch after all these changes the show was never the same.:(
Stefan could have helped Laura escape from that island and go home if he wasn't so selfish. Her being a prisoner forced to sleep with Stavros and longing for her family and Luke. He could have saved her, but helped keep her a prisoner. Luke is the only man who ever risked his own life and happiness for her and her wellbeing. Stefan blackmailed her too, remember? He's just always been another evil Cassidine.
