Ok well plated liners goes way back to the late 1960s guys. Kawasaki sled engines used in Cat were chrome lined not sleeved. T 1 series twins. I got one in my barn. First used on Cat in 69/1970 for a pilot build, mass produced the next season. Suzuki twins used by Cat were nikasil lined. Summer 1974 for the half breed Suzuki Fury limited build sled built off the El Tigre chassis, then phased in for the 1976 Cat line. If you want to get picky the Sachs Wankel 303 engines are nikasil and that design dates back to the mid 60S. Gee next Ski Doo will say they invented the slide rail suspension and A arms up front.
@@ericalbertson6621 Yes, that's why they had very good engines to. It's not new technology like Mark said . I find that type of hype frustrating to hear especially from SnowTrax they should know better.
When I was a kid there would be 3 ft of snow on the ground all winter long right now in the middle of February there's o inches what's the point in having a sled
Just another gimmick like the Rush suspension. They are snapping like crazy too. Only 14lbs weight savings over the other Cat, Titanium arms and carbon rails will drop you 36lbs and still have a proper set up lol.
Thank you for another full length show. You guys are the best.
Don't mention it, thanks for watching.
Congrats on 25 years!
Had a 850 last year and have a 900 XRS turbo this year and absolutely love it. Best Sled I’ve ever owned.
Great show
I love what you guys do here on snow trax and on dirt Trax how to you upload the episodes on TH-cam so if you missed it on TV you can watch it here
He said ace 900 horsepower triple ... that would be crazy lol
Had to rewind to make sure I heard right
Normally aspirated too lol
I'd buy that for sure!

I wish I could hear this show ?
Didn't Yamaha use sprayed on cylinder lining back in the 80's ? It's called " Nikasil plating" by Yamaha.
Mark Bow Kawasaki also did that in there triple marine engines since early 90s I know for sure

So tired of hearing about the 900 ace. Love hearing about everything else though this year.
They're a 900hp sea doo now? And normally aspirated? Lol
How heavy are these snow bikes? Are they over 300lbs?
Doubt it
60HP Spark is a triple not a twin
snowtrax
the 60 horses spark
have a 900 ace under the bonnet
😉
Be carefull, Rotax 900 ACE is 60hp and the Rotax 900 ACE HO is 90hp in the Spark.
Dude what the hell is on your chin ?! 😄
Lol. That soul patch is brutal.
I hate to judge but that flavor saver must be a Canuck thing.
@@dsm091 naw not really actually. We have goatees. Have no friggin clue what the frig he's doing with that. Like none, lol.
Most Canuck just grow a full beard. Neck and all. Or just a clit-tickler.
A growing set of chin nutz
How many episodes are you going to get out of the alpha 1.......this is getting lame.
