    I see it says the Tuxedo Pro X15 will not fit a Carbon pro bed. Is that the factory spayed on bed liner or something else? I have a Silverado 1500 LTZ with the sprayed on factory liner.

      I've got a 2014 Silverado and my only complaint is every time I open the tailgate I gotta unlatch the cover and close the tailgate then close the tonneau cover on top of the tailgate otherwise I love it

    What’s the difference between with deck rail system and without deck rail system?

    • @Realtruck
      @Realtruck  ปีที่แล้ว

      Toyota has an optional track system called the Deck Rail System, that may be mounted in the bed of the truck, just under the bed caps. There are typically adjustable tie down cleats included with the option, that can be installed into those rails. If you have Deck Rails, that may change the way the cover fastens to the bed of the truck. For example, if you get the LoPro for a Tundra: if the truck is equipped with the Deck Rail System, the clamps will attach via the Deck Rails; but if your Tundra doesn't have the Deck Rails, all clamps will attach to the flange on the bed caps, the same way as the front 2 clamps on the Sierra in this video.

    Do you have to pop cover up each time you open and close tailgate?

      I know people who do not pop the cover each time. They end up with the gasket in front of the tailgate instead of on top, and to be honest it seems to work ok that way even though the gasket is designed to sit on top of the tailgate as he demonstrated in the video.

    I read the instructions and it says to close the cover then close the tailgate. I’ve heard people say to do it both ways. Not really sure which is correct or if it matters

      Hey Ron, it really depends on your tailgate. The design of the seal for most trucks, is to give you the option to close the cover on top of the tailgate, or close the tailgate against the seal after the cover has been closed. The tailgate on some trucks comes up a little higher and causes interference closing the cover on top of the tailgate with the extra thickness of the seal, so on those trucks, the tailgate has to close against the seal after the cover has been closed.

      @@Realtruck Can you tell me if it matters on a 22’ refresh trail boss with the multiflex tailgate?
