- IT'S FINALLY HERE those were some amazing archon quests. i absolutely love the twins and navia!! furina is such a gremlin, i have a feeling her story is going to be very interesting... anyways fontaine is just beautiful, i haven't had the time to do a lot of exploration or world quests but i can't wait (and diving is so fun, they nailed it)

I believe that it is canon that everybody speaks a universal language (Teyvat Common) but every region(except Mondstadt maybe?) has its own language too. I have a headcanon that due to the Sakoku Decree and being an island nation in general, most Inazumans can’t speak decent common outside of those who live on Ritou and need to speak common, so every one of them outside of Ritou speaks broken common with a thick Inazuman accent.
Outside of Inazuma I’m sure mastery would vary but I would live for Zhongli speaking with a thick Liyuen accent

As someone who can speak French it’s funny to hear some of the pronunciations sometimes being off or seeing random french words ALSO since there is a “baguette” in the game in my humble opinion they have to finish it off by adding someone either named “croissant” or “fromage” to complete the joke otherwise I’m going to riot (calmly)
As a French person who can’t speak French, I’m also amused by Fontaine

The TER and SNCF reference was hilarious. For those not raised in France, it's our train system, and it's known for it's chronically lateness. Like they NEVER arrive early, and having them arrive in time is a miracle.
I play with the game's language in french (sorry my lord for I have sinned 🙏) and I loved the puns they made with water in the dialogues. The first time the Traveler meets Furina and ask her how she knew they were coming to Fontaine, she says in the most arrogant tone : "Il est évident que ça ne coule pas de source pour les étrangers," 😌 Greatest way to introduce her personality : Clown 😂

I was convinced that the real serial diasapearance guy was actually the old assistant guy to navia (idk his name). He was there at the opera. He seems to b in a position of power so he could easily have hired the gardameks. He's always near Navia so he could've poisoned her drink. He could have purposefully messed up with procuring info about Marcel to make navia look bad in court. But alas I was just overthinking things...

I may not know much French, or at least not as much as I’d like to, but I think I understood. Not to do with the food, but more to do with theatrics (théâtre was one of the words I made sure to nail into me early on in secondary, and it’s general meaning of acting)
