Good morning Mike. It’s hard to get any thing done until after new year’s. Great little update. I will be watching. Have a great week. And you and your family have a blessed Christmas season. 👍👍👍👊👊🎅🎅✌️✌️
That looks like a real fun kit Mike Buddy!!! Your paint work looks super smooth! Great job so far!! You and your family family have an awesome Christmas 🎄!!! Model on my friend ✌️🎄✌️🎄✌️🎄✌️
Hi Michael being an F1 car with all those curves and angles the decals will try the patience of a saint good luck with the rest of the build buddy 🍻🎄🎅👍
Thete is a big difference. The ones with the preprinted patterns were bought 20 years ago. The ones from that printing patch are long gone. I'm trying to use them. They are just brittle. I have to try to conform them very slowly. The Marlboro don't want to stick. The Tamiya ones don't want to release from the backing. Hope clear goes well. Thanks for watching Tom
Great update sir coming along nicely! Holiday time is busy time so no worries do what you can when you can enjoy time with the family and friends and enjoy the holidays 😁
You are doing great work on the F1 car Mike! Nice painting and detailing, even if it is not exactly the same as the original (doesn't matter to me so much). Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
Looks great, Mike. Love the details and with all those curves and facets, it must be hard to align and paint. I've never tried an F1 model🤔. Well done and best wishes from jolly old England 👍🎅Pete 🤓
@@michaelhintzmikesminiature1812 I'm sick of seeing nascar builds. It's seems there are 2 chassis,4 bodies and lots of decals 🤷♂️that make the series of models
Hello my friend, Happy Holidays...If I may ask a question, what grade of sandpaper are u using on your models? I have just recently gotten into this hobby while making trips back and forth to Hobby Lobby. I end up purchasing the M4I Walker Bulldog Tank 1:35, B-25 Mitchell Bomber plane 1:64 and F-15C Eagle 1:48 scale. Never thought my patients would handle this sort of thing, but as you may be aware, Also it helps me with Fibromyalgia, sort of! I do love to tinkering with thing though. Cheers to ya!
It varies on what I'm doing. Preparing. I sand body with 600 or micro mesh 3200. After paint t I'll start with micro mesh 3200 working to 12000. If your buying supplies from Hobby Lobby. They sell the micro mesh in a set of apx 2×2 foam backed pads. Hope this helps. I do have a video done not long ago about polishing. You'll have to check the archives. If you need more help please ask. Thanks for watching
Looking good Mike!! Old decals can indeed be a problem. Love the steering wheel too!!
Thank you Mark. I really enjoyed the steering wheel. Thanks for watching

The carbon decals want to brea, the Morbolro don't want to stick, and the Tamiys don't want to release from the backing. 😑 I'll get it though
Love the steering wheel, looking good Mike, drastic color difference with the new carbon, :)
