haha, yeah it wasn't easy but I had a lot of will power on that day :)
Was it an actual paint or one of those acrylic liquid paints
Amazing video! What kind of paint did you use and did you mix with water after?
hey thanks Seymour, I used wall paint for indoor painting and yes I also thinned it with water when it was needed :) but not too much so that the paint still covers the backdrop well
@@nicolebenewaah1282 so it's possible for the paint to wash off with time?
Only mix water with water based paints, I think latex also. Do not mix oil based paints with water :)
How did you manage to dry the canvas in the rainy/windy weather ?
It wasn't raining it was rather windy :) my camera wasn't the best quality!
Hi, did you use oil based painting or. Water based?
Hey Fernando, I used water-based paint. I used Acrylic, paint
@@nicolebenewaah1282 Thanks dear!
What size do I need
This is one was 3 meters long and 1,6meters wide, but there is no specific sizing, it is best to create one according to your personal needs. I recently painted a blue one with 2 and 1 meter sizing ;)
did u use unprined or primed canvass?
I used primed :)
@@nicolebenewaah1282 thank you so much...
Nicole! Obaa

I love it! What kind of paint did you use?

Since you used house paint, can you still roll it and not getting any damage?
Thats a good question, yes you can roll it without getting any damage! I have been moving it around for a couple of project and so far I haven't experienced any cracks or other forms of damage.

Awesome work! How long did it take to dry? :)
as it was a sunny day it took max. 15 min :)
@@nicolebenewaah1282 Wow! That's amazing! I planned to paint with painting acrylic colors with a lot of water, as they would be cheaper due to the smaller size than the Bauhaus Farbeimer. :D Let's see, how quick that would dry out.
@@dukekiduke I am excited to hear about your results
How did you keep the fabric from wrinkling when rolled up?
it wrinkles here and there but as the canvas is very robust it hangs out quite easily and doesn't show on the photographs :)
You can mix in you're paint : glue / wood glue , water based glue, in my country it's called: aracet !
@@collanna thank you I will check it out!!
Can you wash the background?
I wouldn't recommend it :)
was this backdrop flexible after?
Yes still is :) as it was painted on a role of canvas
@@nicolebenewaah1282can you please tell me what color codes or names you used? What is the width of the canvas used?
What type of fabric do you use for this?
It was a canvas fabric :)
@@nicolebenewaah1282 where can you buy the canvas fabric from?
@@LiveLikeIron from bigger art supply stores or amazon :)
@@nicolebenewaah1282 thank you
in the sunlight was looking amazing. but I don't know why I didn't like the color of the background in the last photos... but anyway, amazing video showing the process. =)
I think it is a matter of taste especially while green tones come in so many shades :)But I am completely happy with it, thank you ;)
Where did you buy the canvas material?
I bought it at an art supply store called Gärstecker, but you should be able to get it at any well organized art supply store :)
