Hi guys, maybe put an elastic band around the tap handle and a towel around your tap head to prevent it from scratching the window, just a thought. Safe travels 🤙🏽

That's exactly what we do since. A dish cloth wrapped around, held by a double-sided Velcro strap. A towel on the bench near the window. And on rough roads also strapping the handle. ✔️

I'm thinking perhaps your caravan tyre pressures were too high for the corrugations on the Savannah Way.
The knowledge base on the Zone RV website suggests the following for corrugated roads:
Lightly Corrugated: 28 PSI (80-100km speed limit).
Moderate Corrugations: 23 PSI (80km speed limit).
Bad Corrugations: 18 PSI (60km recommended minimum speed, where possible maximum speed 80km).

Good advice, we didn't know there is a recommendation like that on the Zone website. Have to check that out. Thanks.

It's not just you guys. Plenty of other TH-cam caravan people also seemingly expecting to take caravans places & on roads never intended for them.
Once you go off the black top, all bets are off, travel at own risk.

The Zone is an off-road caravan. We have driven worse roads since. Our point is more regarding the way some people drive then regarding the road conditions. The dangerous driving is it what takes the fun away. It's really scary to watch some drivers. Irresponsible and stupid, risking damage and accidents. We didn't include those footage in the video, as we were to busy to stay safe on the road.

      Ain't that the truth.
I'm the proud owner of a 15'5" 2008 Jayco poptop pretend off-roader, so going slow, steady & carefully is pretty much compulsory.
