Hello. thank you for watching this video. I included all the supplies in the description. I'll make sure to clearly state the items in the videos next time. Thanks for your input. But for this particular project, I used regular craft wires for the armature, batting and felting wool for the sculpture. UV resing for bith the wings and eyes, and a bit of acrylic paint for the wings details. All of these can be sourced in hobby, craft, or art supply stores, or online.
Hi, thank you for your comment. I actually looked at several reference photos, and took photos of honey bees myself, before I made this sculpture. You're right, bees doesn't look as segmented as wasps, but they still are segmented, but they're mostly covered in fur, thus they're not as obvious. This bee also is in a much larger scale, so the segments are more pronounced.
@@MonaHammadArt thank you for your reply. I wish you had done a verbal video Im may have understood it a bit better. I love this bee and may give it a try. Love big bees . Could you do another perhaps with a different type of bee
@@karenvaage1228 Hi! I will make more felted animals, specially insects. I've been wanting to make videos with audio instructions, but I have a small child, and only squeeze recording videos during her bedtime. But she's now a bit bigger, and I am planning to produce more videos with verbal instructions. Thanks for your comments and suggestions :)
