2024 Harley Breakout 117 Custom Build | American Metal Customs

American Metal's Josh Allison is honored to be a part of the ‪@harleydavidson‬ Invited Builders Series heading into ‪@bornfreeshow‬ this summer. Josh decided to put his spin on a new 2024 Harley Breakout 117 and he has almost completely reimagined this bike while combining old and new elements throughout the build. One of the biggest challenges Josh has faced was the insane wiring that the new factory bike had. He felt he had to remove it completely to get the look and feel he wanted. Thanks to an Altmann wiring kit he was able to convert to an S&S super E shorty carb and simple chopper style wiring. Firing this up for the first time made for a big day at the shop!
The Invited Builders Series was created by Harley to spotlight the best custom bike talent out there, and Josh will present his custom build at Born Free in Silverado, California, on June 22-23. Follow along to see how this build progresses....stay tuned for more updates!

I've said since I saw the very first cvo breakout delivered to the local shop, that I want one so bad and to put a springer front end on it. I looks just as good as I imagined it would.
