no one has succeeded in taking RE ‘s market as Enfield is all about heavy metal,rider focus and affordability. now rivals are trying all sort of partnerships to take on the likes of enfield. This will end up selling like 2-3 k per month if prices are below 5k usd

I’d be interested in getting one if they’re priced close to a Hunter (I’m almost certain that’s not going to happen)
In any case, this is the most exciting launch worldwide and kudos to Triumph for partnering with Bajaj to introduce ‘accessible’ motorcycles !

@@sathishrao7926Does the air cooled engine give you any heating trouble? Especially in the climate during summers of Chennai?
@@varun2250 Vulcan S is liquid cooled.. Sorry I can’t speak for riding conditions in Chennai since I live in Bengaluru..
Engine does get heated up in bumper-to-bumper traffic, especially in summer even in Bengaluru in spite of liquid cooling..
I like all Triumph bikes, especially Speed Twin 1200 is my ultimate love, now thankfully this brand is coming to India with cheaper (affordable) options. So, retro bike lovers have a fair chance to buy and enjoy riding British bikes made in India. I like Triumph Speed 400 because it's simple, elegant and looks great.
I hope the engine has a balancer shaft like the RE 350 or its no go.
Make it 500cc. I’d have one in my garage. I already have a very large choice of baby bikes to choose from. Triumph have just added another to the list to be crossed off. The world needs a modern 500cc thumper.
You are correct, teh price will tell the story. If Trumph prices the 4oocc bikes too high they will kill thembeforethey get started. It would be very hard to beat Royal Ebfiekd prices, but witht eh Triumohs you would be getting mush more motorcycle. Newer styled features, like the up side dwom fork and fees by wire. I think if they can keep the price right at $6000 or a little less they will have a hit on their hands. But if the price is over $6000 they will have a gard time selling them. They will sell a few at the higher price, but not enough to be calles a success.
Fantastic bikes with awesome design and logical engine. The scrambler lacks the spoked wheels and the elevated exhaust. However looks even better than the "normal" one.

Price will play a key role in indian market. It can be a double edge weapon. If it is used properly l am sure this will be a game changer!!

curious about the low end torque, the higher top end vs the RE competition would be nice but it looks like they produce most of the torque high in the rev range

Between MSRP and dealer add ons, the 400 will be $7000.00 - an insane price for a 400cc bike. 350 Meteors are going for $1000 over list.
Does the scrambler 400X has the same sprocket like the speed 400?
Well they look great, just wish they would make one for short riders, not everyone has a 30” inseam or greater.
So with that being said, I will stick with the Honda rebel. So Honda still has no competition.
For my money these look very, very promising. :>)

not british..thats one you need to know..they are after indian money so they make them in india....but brits are supposed to be thankful cause it says triumph on the tank.......no thanks, i was massively excited about getting a smaller bike by triumph..until that little tidbit was let out
And Bajaj bike are not durable, fragile bikes
