I agree with every point except the self deprecation one. You usually state that making fun of yourself is a good thing. I agree that putting yourself down in a complete negative way looks bad but poking fun of yourself in general can be funny in most interactions with people.
The great thing is that if you often embrace your insecurities, people will see them as strengths or no big deal. If you're a virgin, you can say, "Yeah I've focused on my career for a while but now I'm excited to date around more." If you don't have a great job, you can tell her, "I'm loving exploring my new passions and finding out what really fulfills me."

Right on point Tripp! The only time I've used self depreciating humor is when I did a stand up show. George Clooney is the only one who can get away with it.
I feel the same turned off way, when the first thing women talk about is their ex or last whoever. It's not that I'm trying to be petty, but after a while it gets so insecure and ANNOYING both. I understand that it hurts, but it's just as insecure as any shyness.
I highly disagree that funny self deprecation is unattractive. In fact I used it very effectively in my routines. It can make you real, vulnerable, and not a big talker.

Hey Tripp, question for you...Are you saying posting an Instagram picture of the New Porsche you bought is a sign of insecurity and would turn women off? I'm single and women are hypergamous by nature so wouldn't that actually attract women? I would think it's like marketing. You can have a great lifestyle and be a high value man but nobody knows that if they don't see it.
In all Videos like this one, i hear, women are insecure so you have to be confident. And men have to be emotionally strong, because women aint. Also i hear, dont doubt yourself , dont depricate yourself, dont be unsatisfied with your job or life, dont complain, dont cry , she doesnt like that and by the way, earn more money than your girl, because she doesnt want to provide. The Man has to. Just be strong and never weak, girls dont like that. What do women expect men to be. A robot? And what do the women do?

Exactly. Engage in 'self-amusement' purely for yourself, rather than taking the piss out of yourself to hope someone else likes you.
Maybe with someone u already know and already feeling comfortable with
Not when u trying to know them specially in a date 😏
I enjoy your calm and supportive demeanor. You're like a cool big brother giving advice to his younger brother.

Self-deprecation is what makes British humour so funny. It's a different humour than in America.
not when your on a date

Self deprecating humour is sign you don’t care
