😟I honestly feel for the people who's property has to be demolished, but Kenyans never learn, even today new properties are being built on what is clearly 🧐road reserves; example is in Kitengela areas, even after years of seeing properties being brought down for being on road reserves or public lands. Then they will be complaining in 5 or 10 years when a roads needs to be expanded. Even with a corrupted building permit process, as an individual investor they should protect there investment by not building on this spaces especially after seeing how others are suffering over the years. 😏
On a serious note...it ought never have been a question of rehabilitation!!!!As a People and Nation we really did let ourselves down by allowing the decay of our national collective assets with absolutely no idea and or plan in situ as to how to maintain them in use and repair....We should have now been talking about the adaptation of new technologies in our expansive communication infrastructure...Be that as it may let us be of good cheer that some serious work is being undertaken by people who really care about our Nation.
As a tax payer, I want to know how much were those branded caps? Which politician won the tender? No point telling us the project will be finished before schedule yet the saved $$ are spent on rubbish PR kofias.
Yes. They are revamping the MGR across the country, but with very minimal demolitions. Encroached URC land is majorly peasantry and no permanent structures erected.

It's September now.
My question will be, is Uganda doing the same on there side?
