@@KrautCat not really? i think theyre still a pretty solid band even without him, sure he was absolutely a vital part of the whole band, but honestly theyre still killin it, Daniel is still an amazing songwriter, Paul still has an amazing voice, and Sam’s drum beats are still consistently groovy. I’d even argue that if it were Daniel that left, this band would completely fall apart.
@@tonerstummy5680 thanks, cute dog, and srsly does custom account for tiny body, they're always tiny, or paul banks is just a huger human than I've previously realized?
Daniel is playing a hollow body. His is bigger to give his guitar a more airy sound with that empty space. Pauls Les Paul is a solid body so he gets a fatter tone. If that guitar was any bigger Paul would have trouble playing that guitar for a whole set. He is a big dude. I saw them this past weekend in Berkeley and they put on a great show. Something will always be missing without Carlos but oh well.
Yeah, im familiar with hollow bodies, i had actually initially assumed Paul's was a semi though bc it looks sort of thick. It still looks small to me but you say he's a big dude so i imagine that explains it
one of the best bands of our generation no contest
3:51, "You could be in my SPACE!!!!" ohhh Paul.
My favorite Interpol song. 🤗
Mine, too! *Forever!*
Me too i do think
Same! Leif Erikson, The New, and PDA are close though.

La primera vez qué escuché está canción me voló el cerebro y ha sido mi mayor obsesión desde entonces... Jamás voy a olvidarlo.
His smiling at the beginning when he says "this is narc" omfg
Carlos bass contributes a lot to the tone of this song.
He was kinda a dick, but this band has suffered tremendously without him.

this song is so good man. the incorporation of disco influence into this brooding style creates such a raw and passionate feeling
Saw them in October 2019 in San Diego with Morrissey, words can't explain... So Awesome, please come back.. One of the best concerts ever👍
i was there too! it was truly amazing
This perfection is not reflected in any rock band, neither of the present nor of the past!
Daniel looked exactly like he did here in Dallas last month . Isn’t that insane
this video has always had a steady rotation in my music shuffle
"Remember that last way cause that was the right one" literally something they probably said while writing this song😂😂

As usual...bassist (who is tearing it up) gets VERY little screen time. Way of the world.
