Interpol = Best album of their entire career. I really enjoyed all their albums... And I admit Turn On The Bright Lights is the monster that every one of their subsequent works have been compared to. When I first got the self-titled, I was disappointed. Several spins later, and now I think this is their best work. Period. This album is a masterpiece. It's different, it's complex, but a masterpiece.
I think that keyboard parts make it feel more fresh, TOTBL is a master piece and everything compared with it looks worst but 4th album doesn't deserve the hate
@@bearzdlc2172 That's David Pajo. He and Carlos don't look much alike aside from the short hair. While more than capable as a bass player, he's one of the best guitarists you never heard of. This session is from 2014. Dengler left Interpol in 2010.
I did not take to analysis So I had to make up my mind And hold it for a while I would not just leave you without a kiss But I guess there must come a time When there's no more tears to cry Thieves and snakes need homes Need homes, barricade It starts to feel like a barricade To keep us away, to keep us away It kind of does It starts to feel like a barricade To keep us away, keep us away I could not lean on the politics 'Cause I didn't want to train my eye To hold so short a time Oh so high, just don't know Where the blind could lead the sightless But I still like to witness Thieves and snakes need homes Need homes, barricade It starts to feel like a barricade To keep us away, to keep us away It kind of does It starts to feel like a barricade To keep us away, keep us away Full speed, half blind Full tilt, decline We turn to past times Full speed, half blind You know us You know us And we said I'm sorry Say, I'm sorry Sometimes it feels like a barricade To keep us away, keep us away It kind of does How much fear can you fabricate To keep us away, keep us away You know us Full speed, half blind Full tilt, decline We turn to past times Full speed, half blind Full speed, half blind Full tilt, decline On to old times Full speed, half blind
One does not simply associate all the Interpol songs, to a single person...

Paul versión padre de familia, la puta madre como amo a estos cabrones
Daniel "Piernitas Danzarinas" Kessler ❤️
Tons of bassists could play faster or more elaborately than Carlos, yet few bassists can create bass lines as tasty as Carlos did.
@Jeffrey Royer why not? nobody would stand out if we didnt compare, dumbass.
It ain’t like he’s dead. He’s still doing it for himself and other people
@@kthnxbi8834 he’s said he hasn’t picked up or owned a bass since he left the band.
@@ForrestGreenYT wrong bud. he played bass in 2016
@@bearzdlc2172 that’s awesome! Do you know where so I could see?
It´s truly a shame that David Pajo doesn´t appear in the video. He is such a legend.
nigga what? his name is carlos d and he shows up with his hands and his mug is at the 2:42 mark... ;/

damn that bass line is awesome!! I hope who ever plays bass on the next album is just as good as carlos.
man... it´s david pajo, a true legend of underground rock culture.
@@xfebar it's Carlos D's bass work but yea David is great
dave pajo would've been the perfect replacement for carlos. it's a shame he had to leave.
Mr. Brad Truax lived up to the expectations. :)
You mean Slint David Pajo?
Love this song . Wish they would play it live. Love the self titled!
Carlos Dengler = Bass God
i love paul

love the grove of this one. rock the casbah, rock the casbah. also love the godfather middle 8.
I did not take to analysis
So I had to make up my mind
And hold it for a while
I would not just leave you without a kiss
But I guess there must come a time
When there's no more tears to cry
Thieves and snakes need homes
Need homes, barricade
It starts to feel like a barricade
To keep us away, to keep us away
It kind of does
It starts to feel like a barricade
To keep us away, keep us away
I could not lean on the politics
'Cause I didn't want to train my eye
To hold so short a time
Oh so high, just don't know
Where the blind could lead the sightless
But I still like to witness
Thieves and snakes need homes
Need homes, barricade
It starts to feel like a barricade
To keep us away, to keep us away
It kind of does
It starts to feel like a barricade
To keep us away, keep us away
Full speed, half blind
Full tilt, decline
We turn to past times
Full speed, half blind
You know us
You know us
And we said
I'm sorry
Say, I'm sorry
Sometimes it feels like a barricade
To keep us away, keep us away
It kind of does
How much fear can you fabricate
To keep us away, keep us away
You know us
Full speed, half blind
Full tilt, decline
We turn to past times
Full speed, half blind
Full speed, half blind
Full tilt, decline
On to old times
Full speed, half blind
Fuck... Paul Banks is so hoooot can’t believe that

DAVID BOWIE BANKS
Carlos is really missed.
yeah great music, I've been listening to it for over a decade.
but I also gotta say, they look pretty sexy
perfek
Why can't I see Carlos' face?
Hello Paulina, Carlos left the band in 2010, in this performance the bass is David Pajo
he was too scared
It will Paul
They show the face of the bass player once.

they don't show the new bassist now?
it's hilarious...
Are they practicing this song?
dude what're you talking about? Nothing has happened to their great music.
Que pedo con el bajista de antes???
creo que esta demás el teclado y el coro estúpido. Interpol es simple y así es genial!
is that autotune what i hear????
No
YruamaZepol It's called a back up singer.
No, it's an echo effect
thekillers1stfan they show the backup singer
