Ah yes, I recognise a lot of the route. The X7 run by Stagecoach (aka the only Leicester route I've visualled, for now) is pretty much the same as the X3 lol
It differs slightly around Kibworth and Great Glen but yeah it is. Also, in terms of keeping them different, shame the X3 now also uses Haymarket rather than SMBS. Now it’s just like what happened with the 48 and 158 in Hinckley. I remember when you had the 131 on a Sunday which went via Fleckney instead of Great Glen.
@@leicestertravels4705 What happened with the 48 and 158? Yeah I've noticed that they're exactly the same, so I wonder whether the 48 was set up to compete with the 158 or not. Yep, Kibworth is one difference. In fact the X7 is restricted to single deckers because of a low bridge around the area, whilst the X3, going via a different route which doesn't have the low bridge, can use double deckers as a result
@@gabrielstravels The 48 used Haymarket while the 158 used SMBS, but then when Savoy Street opened they moved the 158 to Haymarket, and with the 48 still split, it pretty much is the same. All that initially differed between Leicester and Nuneaton was the entry into Leicester, with the 48 diverting down to Horsefair Street, but no one seems to have told Stagecoach that road’s re-opened, so now they’re just driving up to Belgrave Gate.
Don't you think the DB300s that will go into coalville services should also get the same seats as the 63 plate SB200s since Thurmanston always refurbs busses with moquette seating whilst Wigston use e leather. as you can see by the solos and other transfers they have.
weaboo destroyer I’m not really bothered tbh, as long as they’re running. Some have had leather seats applied up in the north-west when repainted. Also, Thurmaston did do that to some DB250s back in 2015-2016 as an ‘upgrade’ for the 127 but they’ve stopped that. I don’t know what you’re thinking of unless some Solos were refurbished and I’m not aware of that since they don’t serve me but the last bus I remember Wigston refurbishing not to Sapphire was Lowlander 4735, and that was back in early 2015.

@@leicestertravels4705 And also Great Glen yes. X7 doesn't go there except for some evening journeys towards Northampton
