To feel sadness is to recognize that you have human qualities that enable you to relate to, reach out to, possibly understand/find understanding, find solace & give consolation. Embrace your ability to be human, seek to rise above the sadness to the light of kindness, thankfulness, caring, sharing, nurturing and love. If people take advantage of you, like leaches, pray with/for them and back away, carefully. You also cannot give (or trust) until you are completely drained; the vulture(s) will just move on to their next prey, leaving you evaluating how (he/she/they) manipulated you into becoming so vulnerable. Humans suck sometimes. But often you look into the eyes of a human being and see the unmistakable, overwhelming spirt/love of God. It's worth it!
Um...for all of you giving accolades to this pretender...listen to Josh Groban sing it (he's the one who populated it. Then listen to the Celtic Woman version of it. Those are healtfurt versions. Not a cheap imitation.
What a farce. You took a popular song and capitized on it. Those of us who believe in our roots (Ireland...definitely not Japan) and who have grown up in the faith are deeply off.
