Love the way floor sings this song, not saturating it with the opera vocals, but using those in the right parts beautifuly I must say. Man the accordion solo, killer stuff and the way she ends the solo... Epic stuff fellas.
3:10 this part sounds a bit weird without operatic vocals though. I really think she slays the parts where she does use operatic vocals though. 0:41 sounded better than when Tarja sings it live imo.

Except she can't sing this song. This is one of those songs she should stay away from, because it makes her look bad, but you know.. And before you jump to her defense with blah blah woof woof, all of which I am tired of hearing, the only one who can actually sing this one is Tarja, since it was tailored to her voice in perfect symmetry. Floor not a patch on Tarja. Tarja does this effortlessly with a lot more power, floor can’t hit those high notes and struggles to do it with power or volume.

Possibly the best interpretation Floor has done of this song. However, it is really not for her, at least not for her usual style, the song loses way too much in the transposing. Maybe if she could go full operatic in the original key? Idk, Tuomas won’t let her anyway.

@@monluztrella Maybe she could, but then she lacks the power and strength, she struggles hitting the high notes with power and volume, instead doing it at low volume and power and relying on the mic and amps to amplify her voice. Or has to scream or belt and sounding unnatural. She may have a decent chest voice, but not head voice. Tarja does it naturally and effortlessly at high power, energy and volume. There’s a reason Tarja’s songs were written for her as only she can do justice to them.

There is a lot to be said about taste, but Tarja has her best years behind her. Something better than Floor could not have happened to the band. Since joining the band, all the band members are thriving and living the music. Tarja was yesterday, Floor is a prosperous future for this band.

Wishmaster is a Must to perform at any concert. It is one of your best songs, even then best.
