For information on the unicender there are 2 experts Richard mumford...and Tom hoffman..great tool for up and down.mainly.sorry bino but those guys already covered that thing .
Quick history the unicender was invented for double rope mrs...however they soon discovered takeing a wrap method and is mainly used srt..now ..the wrap is for srt decent.repelling...when in double rope Mrs....the wrap is not needed..I have unicender with Richard's drum kit on it ..and lower wear plate..on Mrs system you can just squeeze it ..but need the wrap on srs
Quick history the unicender was invented for m.r.s system ..double rope...BUT THEY soon discovered this wrap method and it is now only used in s.r.s 90 percent..with the wrap method...and you can strum the rope to release it .quickly...see unicender strum techniques.....via web....on double rope no wrap is need just squeeze it...there's plenty of friction..I have one woth drum installed and lower wear plate..in pine trees however it will lock up from sap...God bless ..stay safe binoooooo😮😅😅😅
Tether changes the angle of the uni ...creates friction ..forgot to say that..the angle ....tom Hoffman duscivered this method..the uni is great and most beautiful devicemade...but can be struggle in sappy trees..or useless.....was my firsr mechanical.

That's cool it's good you have back ups.
Nice! It reminds me of a rappel rack, but this releases and engages instantly.
Thank you for watching!
Just got a unicender, first upgrade from a split tail blakes. The no sit back is super nice!
Nice that is a good start to the Stationary Rope System.
Great video, in honour of the responders and brothers and sisters on 9/11, Jesus Lord give them rest. 🇺🇸
