Kenda makes nice all season tire's for scoots. Back in my youth, when I was 10ft tall & indestructible 17yrs old lol. In ohio I use to ride in the snow / sleet to work every weekend with my yamaha razz with nobbys. Took my share of bumps & bruises . I skid threw a turn hit a curb totaled my scoot & broke my wrist. Last time riding in snow😂. Safe travles kevin & thanks for all the helpful info my friend 🎬🛵👍. Salute kevin ✌️😎
That would make me slightly nervous riding in the rain lol ..Im sure you get use to it though after awhile ..you been riding daily for a few years so your pretty experienced now . 👍
Hello joe thanks for watching and for commenting, yeah I'm not bothered bye riding In the rain my clothes keep me warm and dry and i am comfortable with riding in the rain unlike my first winter I had the wrong gear on I got soaked and cold plus I wasn't sure if these Chinese scooters worked well in the rain so I had a rough first winter riding experience well more like first 2 months of my first winter riding because I got on Amazon and bought wind & waterproof motorcycle riding gear ,heated rechargeable gloves and waterproof boots then I was dealing with my visor fogging up I went back on Amazon again my go to store lol to purchase a no fog inner liner film to see clearly through my motorcycle full face helmet visor after 3 years of winter riding with 2 gy6 scooters my 50cc & 150cc I am comfortable knowing the rain wont harm me or my scooters performance all I gots to do is ride cool always keeping in mind the roads are slippery and to not take sharp turns ....🙂👍

First off congratulations to being officially a new scooter owner and I welcome you to our support page on face book I created it like 2 yrs ago so that I could offer better help to my supporters of my Y.T.C who at times ask me question about how to fix something on their scooter ? I decided to move over to Facebook groups this way people can post pics ,videos,and have a wider response from other knowledgeable members who know more about these engines then I do ...lol so long story short I'm very proud to say we are the largest scooter support group on Facebook groups with over 20k members ...you can find us by simply typing in GY6 SCOOTERS in the Facebook section. Hi Kev, I only had to ride my Scooter in the rain like that one time. It was no fun at all. I'm still running stock tires..maybe I ought to find something better. Thank you for the video.
One time I got caught in the absolute worst storm I ever experienced and I was on stock tires and they were actually surprisingly good at dispersing water had no problems always was scared to get caught in the rain but it's really not that bad just gotta pay extra attention
I had to research this being I've never heard of it if I'm right they got this rain dance for vehicle and windshields is this what your talking about Dave..? I use rain x for plastic during winter on my helmets visor so water would repel off easily but I dont use it on my scooters because after rain is gone and the sun comes out I can see the rain x wrinkle up on the body of my scooters so I had to quickly wash them up and wax them so I just use rain proof riding gear and two items for my helmet visor , I use a no fog up liner on the inside of my visor to keep my warm breath from fogging up my visor and for the outside of my visor shield I use rain x it keeps me from having any fogging up and water accumulation from abstracting my view the HWK windproof/ waterproof jacket & pants keep me really warm and dry I am very pleased with the quality of material for the affordable price they cost best time to purchase them off Amazon is during the spring and summer because in the winter the price goes up $20 dollars more . Thanks for the tip / advice I appreciate it 👍

Ever considered getting a windshield? I found on my old Vespa that with a windshield I could stay pretty dry as long as I kept moving.
I think that's a great idea ,I was looking into purching a windshield 2 years ago I might just have to get me one ...🙂👍
