Just ordered these. It's nice to see JBL updating these earbuds to have app support. I had the older Vibe 200 and really enjoyed them. But I lost them in Aruba lol. Actually left them in the hotel I think or dropped them at some point. Oh well.
Excellent buds for the budget! Comparable to Samsung FE Buds at about 1/2 the price... I use mine all the time, and the movie setting works great for when I'm watching movies or playing games via my smartphone or tablet...
These Earbuds are the BEST for the price!!! I thought they were ok at first but after I downloaded the JBL App and connected my earbuds to it I could change all my equalizer and bass!!! It even has a find your earbuds locator built-in to them. I'm Very Satisfied with my choice. JBL Vibe BEAM BLK. Amazon $39.99
Update: talked to tech support and uninstalled and then re-installed the app and now it recognizes the vibe beam headphones. (although they still do not appear in the supported devices list)

the thing u said about not over charging is a fact, because the reason I needed up in Ur video is, in my case is getting discharged a lot faster than expected and need to charge it is way too often depending on how less I use those earbuds, only thing I think is my earbuds are getting overcharged and case losing its battery, I need a way to turn of earbuds after using it stop them, as inside a case they are resulting in over charging of buds and discharging of case battery...any suggestion.
I just bought them is it possible to listen to your surroundings and increase the music. When you in the mode listen to surroundings the music is not loud enough?

When I use my earbuds for a phone call, the person on the other end always complains about the deafening sounds that they hear in the background. These earbuds amplify every background sound in the room to the point that they are nearly 10x louder to the person I am talking to on the phone than they really are in person. I do not know how to stop this. Isn't there be some kind of noise cancelling? If so, where do I turn it on?

Hi, it sounds like the internal switch (mounted on the PCB) is defective or somehow misaligned with the plastic component on the outside. I'd suggest to disassemble the ear cup and test the functionality of the switch.
I had the same problem and what i did is changed the eartips that was not original jbl. After i did that everything changed, sound and bass increased a lot. The original eartips didn't fit my ear and there was almost no bass. Now the sound is great and they don't fall out anymore. Hope this helps.
I have a different vibe set, the one without a lid. Had i known it had no lid o wouldn't have bought them. But now I've learned there is way to turn them on or off eithout the case. Shortest auto shutoff is 30 minutes. Absolute dogshit decisions by manufacturer

Just received these and downloaded the app but it no longer supports Vibe Beam products. This is on iPhone

The app doesn’t show you how much battery remains, always 100% which is definitely inaccurate. Otherwise I like the product very much

I wish the battery life was better, I like the feature on the app that lets you set a limit on the volume so it never goes higher than 80 decibals

You have to disconnect from your phone. They only pair with one peripheral at a time.

I really don't like the these. They fall out of my ears so easily. I normally use my earbuds to workout with but with these. It is not possible.
try jbl tune beam worked like a charm for me and all the sizes felt like they would work well for different sizes
