I returned the vibe buds for these. I liked the sound better on the vibe buds, as i feel the Beam sounds grainy/crackling if the music has too much deep low end frequency. I dont like the open design of the vibe case which is why i returned it for these. I like the beam handle as the vibe was too sensitive when adjusting / fitting into the ear. It seems like im not quite satisifed with either. I wish there was a middle between them. I also agree they are less comfortable when laying down.
Just got these and watching reviews on it as the manual is extremely skimpy. This is the best review I've seen. I have to agree with most of your cons. I don't care that much what case will look like with regard to smudges and scratch but it is a horrible design for removing the buds. Almost feel like I'm wearing thick gloves or lost all my dexterity. And as you said, the controls leave a lot to be desired. However that isn't a huge deal for me as I generally do all my controls from the phone anyway. One thing I noticed is when not listening to anything the ambient sound slightly amplifies the surrounding sound. As a person with somewhat poor hearing it actually helps me understand speech kind of like hearing aids would. Unfortunately not very much but that isn't what they are designed to do anyway. As I said, great review.
I’m glad that it helps with understanding speech! Definitely an unintended benefit that you get to enjoy. Thank you for watching my review and sharing your experience!
Just got the Vibe Beam and after the first time i used them was disappointed with the sound, little bass, almost took them back but when i used the app i was well satisfied, using app in my opinion is a must...takes a bit of practice to get them out and in the case, but overall i'm satisfied...thank you.
I wanted these for my daily use like on commute, but I use the subway and I don't want to risk contacting the earpieces (or having to disinfect my hands each time). And I don't want to have to fiddle with the touch controls on the move either. Soundcore for one lets you reprogram button presses
Lol I do often warn people about my nitpick critiques lol but fr who wants to spend more than $20 on something that looks like it’ll be worn out after 1-2 weeks use? Sure the case isn’t as important as the earbuds themselves but if the case that charges them wears out this fast from very light use, it’s worth mentioning
i agree because the scratched case doesnt affect on earbuds or the cases functionality and if i watch videos with earbuds im not going to look at the case im literally going to look on my phones screen to watch the video not on the earbuds case and how you are gonna protect it from scrathes theres no way you can do it and nothing is going to last forever
I haven’t tried the Wave Beam myself because they seem to be sold in certain countries, I think they are both the same earbuds -just a different name depending on where they’re sold.
I got it today if you need it for music and doesn't mind the quality. I am not an expert to audio jbl vibe is 5/10 there's no way this can beat airpods pro. if u have the funds go for airpods pro say wat u want 'apple haters' apple still the best
Got mine on sale for sale for $39.99, expectations are not very high. Every device these days has no headphone jack so, these seem like a good starting point into the plunge of wireless.
Don't buy this shit. It literally doesn't stay in your ear and the audio is terrible. I couldn't bear to spend a month with this thing. The result was trash. Money thrown away.
I would say that you have gone light on these earbuds. I would spend this money elsewhere. I can’t hear any bass. You did say not to buy, but I figured 60 bucks. Not such a big deal. They are Bluetooth after all, right? But, JBL is supposedly known for bass. Yeah, if you bury them in your ears, however, they have zero bass otherwise. The touch is a hot mess. He’s right. DON’T buy these. They suck and I’m returning mine.
I like the audio quality and bass of these, at about half the cost of comparable Samsungs... I like the battery life on these, too!
just got them and they are impressive

These are on sale for 40 bucks at best buy right now. For that price they’re great imo…now any more expensive then there are better options

These look like they're quite cool. Think I'll check these out. Cool video!

I hear and see great things about those!
other thing, the most important thing in an earbud is the sound, not how it looks, nor the "features" or the app
Totally true which is exactly why I included my thoughts on the sound as well! I hope you have a fantastic day today!
you are a professional nitpicker like why does a scratched case matter 💀

and its completely natural something to get some scrathes
Can you tell the difference between the vibe beam and wave beam? They look so similar
I haven’t tried the Wave Beam myself because they seem to be sold in certain countries, I think they are both the same earbuds -just a different name depending on where they’re sold.

@kittenmochi1250 airpods pro 2 are pretty good at best but a lot of other high end buds sound better from B and O, sennheiser, etc.
In my jbl vibe beam, how to turn off the ambient aware mode when calling, in the menu it is turned off but turned on when calling?
Nice review. Thank you, and God bless.
Thanks for watching! God bless!
Just bought them for 30 bucks
Why would i want to "stand out"? i use earbuds for me, not to impress anyone
Totally understand you not wanting that, that one comment in the video is for the people that do care about that.

I agree! If you look past some of its minor quirks, definitely a fantastic option to start off with
how you been liking them?
thanks for this! very helpful
I’m glad! Thanks for watching!
Great video
Thank you for watching!
