    When I studied English in high school, I wrote words/ sentences, read them, spoke out loud and heard what I said at the same time. People thought I was crazy but it definitely helped me a lot.

    I prefer for someone to teach me/show me what I am doing as I do it. So mistakes are corrected immediately. If I have any questions on what I’m doing I can just ask while performing the task.

    Theres many factors as well like with books its easy to flip through right to the thing you are interested in vs a lecture you have to wait until the information comes up and be lucky youre fast enough to capture it on paper if youre good at taking notes but sometimes you need to hear the information in order to be able to pronounce the new words and phrases and not get hung up on that while reading

I fell on this video because I am doing my reflection task on the various teaching methods and in which context they best apply. I am a MA student at University of Warsaw

    I think I am kinesthetic, because whenever there is a speech to say I can never sit and learn I always walk in the room and practice it.
    Also I can't study continuously I run some where else in 10min of study.

    I'm definitely a visual and auditory person; I like to be able to see things and hear them, but i am also kinesthetic in the sense that me and digital learning do not get on. I need to have an actual physical copy of something, like a text book or planner that I can feel and write on myself. I guess that comes under being hands on. I'm also studying a degree in music, so being hands on probably comes from playing my piano, in that sense, i will watch a demonstration and then try it myself.

    Help, why do I believe I am all of these (except for the visual one)?? I feel like I learn best when I am reading and writing, but I have no patience for that most of the time and end up mostly just chaotically trying to absorb information while I restlessly fidget around. In school I only got by because I memorized what the teachers said in class + speed-read all material the night before an exam.

    I find the most efficiant way for me to draw the material into a flow chart and make brain map and draw pic with my hands. I do not go back to these materials they usually stuck in my mind but I can go and I abosorb the material. It does not have to be nice or colorful. The act while learning is helpful. I am not sure if I am kinesthetic or Reading/writing style as I do not like videos I like written materials but transforming them in my own words and drawings.

    None of the above! Plain and simple. I have a Receptive Processing Disorder. In short: too dumb to learn and no one offers help. If I ask for their help, "Sorry, I don't know how to help you." How about, "Let's see what you need to do and we'll try to figure it out together." Not even in my dreams would people suggest that. They simply don't want to get involved. I have to struggle alone and get frustrated after 16 hours of confusing efforts and have absolutely nothing to show for it. This goes on every single day/night. I have to fill out a disability update report or I will lose all my benefits (which isn't much), including doctor appointments, meds, transportation and bills. How do I ask someone for help when they don't know what my answers should be? And if I don't send it in, or do without finishing it, I'm forced to do without. I really don't have a choice. Most people know how to answer the most simple question: " In case of an emergency, who should we call?" My doctor? I don't know what to do, but just give up. I don't feel that's an option, but what do you expect?

    • @revupthegarden5997
      @revupthegarden5997 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      God is the answer ... in the Bible Philippians 4:13 it says I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
      The Apostle Paul is the one that is speaking he does not say this because of his own ability but rather he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him, that's enabling him to adapt to his various ever change in circumstances. God has ordered pauls circumstance or has allowed his various situations and God gives him the strength to be content in them all trying and perplexing though they may be.
      I can clearly feel your frustration in your writing but please know this there is certainly help for you I'm praying God will provide everything that you need, in the name of Jesus Christ the savior.

      Numerous studies to claim that such visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners exist didn't use the proper research design to have credible data. There is lacking or even weak evidence to support that accommodating to the learning styles will be more effective for learning. Well of course blind people have to use their ears and deaf people have to observe with eyes, but that's the thing; we use nearly all of our senses when we learn things, and it also depends on the material that is being taught.
      A few sources, maybe these will convince you
