Probably because most of these people can’t/won’t get off their lazy asses to clean their own vehicles. Otherwise they would never get in the condition they do. OR this has become a local challenge to get this guy the dirtiest, nastiest vehicle to get a good video....
Question: for the wheel wells with the extra caked on icy mud, why not start by hitting it with the steamer for a bit first, just enough to heat up the dirt and metal?
I have a steamer, the smaller version of this one. It really doesn't put out enough hot steam to effectively melt everything, and you would end up holding the nozzle so close to the ice/ mud that it would make a huge mess of the steamer handle. I think a hose with hot water would be a lot more effective, but don't know that it would save him enough time to bother with switching back and forth between the hose and pressure washer.
You are the only detailing guy that I watch nowadays. Why? Cause you are credible. You do a perfect and functional job, without selling it as a "work of art". People gives you there cars cause they want them like new, back again. And that's what you do. Congrats my friend. Big hug from Argentina.

I used to work at a car wash that was on the way from a beautiful homes situated on dirt roads. They passes the wash on the way to Detroit , where they worked. The mud was so thick that it often formed stalagtite formations on the rockers, and the wheel wells often had inches of mud build up. In the winter months it would be frozen, as would any snow or slush that had been on the vehicle. Often we'd run these vehicles bumper to bumper as cars would line up out of the driveway, and up to hundreds of yards on the side of the road leading up to the wash. Here are a couple techniques I learned and developed while battling this type of build up. 1. Wet the entire vehicle down. This starts to soften mud and ice, allowing for faster removal. For ice, it's all about volume. Make sure it's saturated. 2. Attack the edge of the mud or ice build up. When doing this, the mud and ice can come off in chunks or sheets. Very satisfying! This was over 20 years ago, and I still have fond memories of that job. I used to come home with mud in my hair, all over my pants, and sloshing around in my boots.
When I was watching all the mud come off the outside of the truck, it made me think back to when I was studying waste water at university (in both the chemistry and engineering context at the same time). In my country (Australia), we have both EPA guidelines and limits set by the waste water treatment facilities and local council. Different industries have to use different methods to minimise their environmental impact and just how much crap goes down the drain and onto the sewage treatment plant. Things like heavy metals obviously have strong limits and big fines attached, but even places like your local takeaway store are required to have some sort of grease trap installed, and then the grease can be collected for proper disposal or for further use (like rendering, or those cars that run on used cooking oil). I remember that car washes were one of the worst places for water contaminants, not only because of all the dirt particles, but because you've usually got petroleum product residue and all sorts of trace chemicals coming off trucks when they get a good wash. Are there any waste water disposal guidelines that apply to your business, or even to your state/region? Are you required to have something like a filter to prevent all the dirt going down the drain, or would that only apply if you were working on many more cars in a bigger garage?
Dude you are fantastic. It is increasingly rare to see someone who goes above and beyond in their work. I am so impressed with your work and your work ethic. Keep doing what u do and having integrity while you do it. Props! Subscribed.
For some reason this was by far the most satisfying detail!!!!!!! Everyone on this earth needs the patience you have!!!!! Love your videos and thank you for the constant amazing content!!!!!!!!
I like that you use the extractor until the water comes out clear. There's another detailer who only extracts until the seat/carpet *look* clean, but dirty water is still coming out.
I love how you talk differently with customers than us viewers lol its like you smack the Canadian Accent button when you converse with 'one of your own' haha I do that when I talk to my family back home compared to out here in the city
guys give this guy some credit he’s got a nice relaxing voice and he literally cleaned out the customers car entirely he make’s it look like they just got a new car
I think I found my perfectionist spirit sibling in you lol. When you got to the vacuuming part, I really felt that. I used to vacuum my family's old Turkish carpets until I had to pick the stubborn debris by my hands, and it took me hours to get them spotless. If I get my hands on a car vacuum cleaner, I'd use all day just to help clean my family's cars. Seriously.
From what I gathered from the truck he's from Saskatchewan and the commercial cost of water is $9.5 CAD per 100 cubic foot of water or $13.5 for heavy residential use. That's like $10 for 728 gallons of water. From a quick google search a pressure washer on average use like 1.5-2.5 gallons per minute, more pressure means less water.
iNVERNEIXEN x toilet paper in your car is actually a really good idea for road trips because if you have an emergency and need to go but your miles away from the nearest town or you stop at shady gas station and they have no toilet paper it can really be a life saver.

Are you required to have something like a filter to prevent all the dirt going down the drain, or would that only apply if you were working on many more cars in a bigger garage?
freezeme360 my guy it’s on the car anyway eventually it will fall off
The extraction of the seats is SO satisfying to watch on this one, the man is a wizard at getting seats and carpet clean. Love it.
No one else on TH-cam does as good a job. No one.
Dude you are fantastic. It is increasingly rare to see someone who goes above and beyond in their work. I am so impressed with your work and your work ethic. Keep doing what u do and having integrity while you do it. Props!

For some reason this was by far the most satisfying detail!!!!!!! Everyone on this earth needs the patience you have!!!!! Love your videos and thank you for the constant amazing content!!!!!!!!
Thank you!
I like that you use the extractor until the water comes out clear. There's another detailer who only extracts until the seat/carpet *look* clean, but dirty water is still coming out.

@Short really your the one being childish I don't think that what he/she was meaning by it.
I wish someone would clean my room like this
I am addicted ADDICTED to these
Me: "I know how to wash and clean a car, I've done it multiple times"
Me sees this and other of his videos: "I have no idea what I'm doing"
SAME
Yess
same and i was like so im just doing basic washing then
Imagine if the wheel wells hade carpet liners
WHY THAT would be actually idk
They do?
They do
No they don’t he was just was saying what if
Suzuki uses in s cross carpet liners in rear wheels
Me: "I wonder if those mud clumps are satisfying for him too"
Detail Geek, literally seconds later: "Yes"
I love how you talk differently with customers than us viewers lol its like you smack the Canadian Accent button when you converse with 'one of your own' haha I do that when I talk to my family back home compared to out here in the city
guys give this guy some credit he’s got a nice relaxing voice and he literally cleaned out the customers car entirely he make’s it look like they just got a new car
Kinda the point, I do detail for a living and you want people to know that you're trying your best for there cars
@@thefallenone7734 :)
who isn't giving him credit?
TH-cam: Wanna watch a guy cleaning a car?
Me: Sure,”I’m not gonna watch the whole video cuz is prob gonna be boring “
Me: I did watch it complete
** Me: I just got done watching all his videos.
I've literally watched 3 of his videos all the way through lol
Katherine Webb only 3? Rookie numbers there, gotta boost those stats.
Mashallah my brother, lets go eat some halal sandwiches after.
TH-cam: here, do you want to watch another video of a car being cleaned?
Me: ok! Thanks
At the end when you showed the end result I was thinking, "This guy missed a spot wtf". Found out it was just my dirty monitor.

Dude doesn’t sound Canadian when he does voiced overs but when he talks to other Canadians in a video he sounds Canadian as ever
I didn't realize he was Canadian until I heard his pronunciation of garage and about 😂
Yooo I was thinking the same thing haha. "Yaaa, a little less mudd on it eh?"
OH MY GOD he really does😂😂😂
A boat
I think I found my perfectionist spirit sibling in you lol. When you got to the vacuuming part, I really felt that. I used to vacuum my family's old Turkish carpets until I had to pick the stubborn debris by my hands, and it took me hours to get them spotless. If I get my hands on a car vacuum cleaner, I'd use all day just to help clean my family's cars. Seriously.
i can't even imagine what this guys water bill costs...
He said in a q and a that water is cheaper where he lives so his water bill isn't even that high
Honestly doesn’t add much to the water bill, I’ve been detailing for 5 years now and my bill in the summer goes up maybe $15 a month
He’s Atleast charging these clients like 500-1000 depending on the vehicle and the intensity of dirt so he’s not worried about that
@@awaisakram8573 Plus the amount he makes from TH-cam Adsense, just this video alone will make him $3.5k to $5k
Im not a car girl by any means but one day you popped up on my recommended and now i cant stop watching

Not everyone has a water bill
We have a well at our house so no water bill for us lol
@@itsRockii It costs money to run a well pump
@@JPLIKES2SK8 bru no it doesn't
ツSki Mɑsk how do you think the pump works? It uses electricity. Unless you have a ram pump or a hand pump but almost every home uses an electric pump.
Nothing like detailing a nasty truck in the “gradge”
Unless it is removing the lone nasty sock ....... wearing gloves to do so ....... never know where that sock has been.
cimogm maybe it was the cum sock.... we will never know
@@jorthover6191 and that toilet paper he had there too.. hmmmmm
iNVERNEIXEN x toilet paper in your car is actually a really good idea for road trips because if you have an emergency and need to go but your miles away from the nearest town or you stop at shady gas station and they have no toilet paper it can really be a life saver.

I was thinking in my head “I really wanna see him clean the garage after this one” then you mentioned a garage cleaning video and I got so excitedddd
