My boss pulled rank on me and did it anyway. Huge shocker the kid never came back. Two years later I was able to sell it for $50 as a haunted house prop. My boss, who never heard the end of it, was just glad to not have the daily reminder in the sharp anymore

I live in a place where Amish take horse and buggy on a dangerous 2 lane highway called 212 which runs from coast to coast in northern America and I live in Montana, and it's terrifying. In broad daylight it's fine but at night they're moving so slow and you can't tell until you're right up on them cause they look like a car until you're right behind them and one night it was super foggy and I was going along and suddenly there was a buggy and I had to not really slam my brakes on but I had to put them in fairly hard. People drive drunk around here a lot too. I know one day some Amish family is going to get taken out 😢

In my town there is an old law still in effect that allows a husband to take his wife to the steps of the courthouse and hit her.
The thing about those kind of laws is that they will be immediately nullified by the supreme court the second someone tries to actually use that law
