First time I had this was in a Brazilian steak house, and I fell in love with it. However, I've never tried making it myself, will try this easy recipe, thanks
When I travel from Florida to Minnesota, everyone expects me to grill something because I'm grill talented. But I will be making this for dessert. Exactly the way you did. I'll bet the farm nobody there, including me has tried this. Thanks.
Im adding grilled pineapples with my inch and a half cut ribeye with the bone in, asparagus, and colossal size shrimp! I needed this receipe. Thanks!!!! Ohhh and a nice wine to pair with it all
@@marchebert9813 It was absolutely amazing! I made a parmesan cheese sauce to drizzle over the shrimp to go along too! The hell with a fancy steakhouse, do it all at home!
@@StevenBoak that's what I was thinking. Either a lower/regular proof rum or how about Malibu rum? Already pineapple flavored. I was also thinking grated coconut flakes.
@@Dom-yv4nq I like a good dark. Not a fan of Malibu much, but there's no sense in dropping a bunch of cash of good rum just to soak pineapple in..lol. But since it's my favorite I have plenty of different stuff on hand !
This is SO good that it has become a staple for our grilling. Whenever we grill, this is on the menu for dessert! We have introduced this to our friends and every one of them LOVES it! Most never heard of it, but when they try it...😍
This is awesome. We had at Fogo de chao so had to try it on the smoker. Delightful. Another thing for you all to add to your arsenal is smoke and grill cheese.
Interesting using the fogostarters. I’ve never heard of them nor seen them. I’ve heard of grilling pineapple, but have never tried it. Thanks so much for the delightful and delicious video. 👍
I loooove me some grilled pinapple. This video has me wanting to try it with the cinnamon & sugar but I'm curious to brush on lime juice and sprinkle with a little cayenne before the cinnamon & sugar. Great tip on the cutting!
I got around 80 white pineapples ready for harvest thanks for this tip by the way twist the top off tear the leaves off about an inch allow stub to dry several days & plant in two years you will get pineapples!
Some coconut ice cream would go great with this. Can the fruit be grilled on the same grill top you cook meat or do you need to have a separate grill for fruit and vegetables?
After a cook on my Louisianna Grill, when shutting down the heat/fire, I stick a couple of banannas on the grill, so by the time my meat has rested and been eaten, the banannas are cooked perfectly inside the skin.👍
In Srilanka, I eat this grill pineapple since 1980😍😍 but,we most eat the slice of pineapple just dipping in salt and chili water. Its fresh and more tasty
I've got two racks of St. Louis' going now. There will be a lot of heat left on the smoker when they're done and I've got a pineapple just sitting here. Hmmmm.
I used a whole pineapple on a rotisserie with sugar and cinnamon. I got the idea from a book by Steve Raichlen. I think that cutting the pineapple beforehand is a better way. I used a gas BBQ which doesn't the same amount of heat as charcoal.
Tom Jubb : i believe its jute twine, that was dipped in paraffin wax, it's an old timey trick for fire starting. You can also use cotton balls instead of the twine.

Pineapple, mangoes, and peaches on the grill...amazing!
So good!

Thanks for sharing. We love eating this at the Brazilian steakhouse. We bought two pineapples yesterday and can't wait to fire up the grill
Simplicity is beautiful.

It is so good!
OMG best desert recipe for a backyard get together!

2 questions, my friend. When and where? I know this is a year ago but sounds amazing.!!

Have had this at two different Brazilian Rodizios (one in Bremen, Germany and Albuferia, Portugal) and both times they where absolutely fantastic 😍
thank you after grilling this recipe is hard to quit i did it more the 10 times and again you rock thank you
You're welcome James, glad you like it!
Use spiced rum as well as cinnamon and sugar mix macerate for an hour or more ! Game changer
That’s fantastic advice!
Macerate for an hour? Or more?? Can I take rests and drink some of the rum?
I use a nice dark rum... Plantation oftd is great on it, but you'll get flare up since it's 139 proof

Welcome 😊, glad you liked it!
awesome, great video, great production and love the recipe, reminds me of great Brazil! great work, just subscribed!
Appreciate it! Thank you so much!
I usually grill it first, then put the cinnamon sugar on while it's hot. So yummy with homemade vanilla ice cream.
That sound like an awesome change too. Plus you always run the risk of the sugar burning on the grill, so that's something to try :)
I believe a big part of the flavor comes from the carmalized sugar.
That looks amazing bro! Going to try this for sure.
Let me know how it goes :)
Wooooo se rikisimooooo mi postre preferido la pina👏👏👍👍
First time I tried it was on Brazilian BBQ named Fogo.
What a coincidence 🍍

Oh good idea!!
Going to try it this week comin
Grilled pineapple is awesome! Have you ever done a video on smoked/roasted nuts (or sugar nuts)? Would be very interested in your take on this.
We have not Bill but that's a great idea!
Can you use a propane grill as well or only charcoal
You certainly could use a propane grill but I feel that the charcoal adds another layer of flavor that you won't get from gas.
Cool idea - ich liebe it.
Greetings from germany.
Michael
Had this recently in tulum at Brazilian restaurant on the resort we stayed at. Shit is like indescribably good.
Yep 👍🏼
Hey bro it’s very nice
Great dessert! Every time!

Looks beautifully delicious.
I’m trying this today 🔥🔥🔥😍😍
Excellent. I'm going to try this. I wonder if I might be able to use a torch to char the pineapple?
It was very thoughtful of you to include some pineapple in your cinnamon!
Bet it goes yummier with decadent creamy vanilla ice cream a. la mode!!
Did you close the lid when roasting them?
No
Some coconut ice cream would go great with this. Can the fruit be grilled on the same grill top you cook meat or do you need to have a separate grill for fruit and vegetables?
Yes, absolutely, same grate grill. Yes to the coconut ice cream too
Try soaking it in fireball first, then adding sugar and cinnamon. So good!
Sounds great!
Thank you from France, this is délicieuse and so Easy

I use metal skewers. They look yummy
oh man thankyou for that ripe pineapple tip you got my sub off that alone, great one!
Thanks for the sub!
Pinch of salt and chilli flakes will male it a good starter too
keep making good content 🙂
Could I do this in the air fryer 😬
Sure, I don't see why not.
I'm doing that all ways, only the differents, I'm using brown sugar, the test is more rich
I do that somethimes too
I've got two racks of St. Louis' going now. There will be a lot of heat left on the smoker when they're done and I've got a pineapple just sitting here. Hmmmm.
Eric, did you grill that pineapple? How did you like it?
what time should I come over? ill bring the coronas.

So tasty Ivonne.
What are you using to start the charcoal? I haven't seen those kind of starters before.

Life safer- if only I had seen this before cutting my pineapple into rings 😂
It will works as rings too
Tip: marinate in Fireball Whiskey for 2 hours before applying sugar/cinnamon mix. Yeah.
Could I grill these on a propane grill?
👍
thank you
