Kudos for getting 360 like Humminbird. I’m sure Humminbird has pats on their transducer and you found a way around it. BUT…… you turned a $3300 trolling motor into a $3700 transducer 🤦🏼♂️. Losing spot lock or way point tracking kinda sucks. Having a Kayak with the Motor Guide XI3, Micro Power Pole integrated with a Lowrance FS 9 on a Hobie PA14 and not being able to add this at this point of time is frustrating. I thought about Humminbird Helix 9, Mega 360 and Minn Kota Terova for a all in one boat system but lack of “in stock”, not compatible with Power Pole and the higher cost of the Helix 9 and Minn Kota Terova I decided with the above set up. Hopefully Lowrance comes out with a separate pole/transducer like the other brands. On a positive note I like to Thank you guys for the compatibility with Motor Guide, Power pole 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻and the chirp/overlay.
To have the 360º view feature, you will need the Ghost trolling motor and the 3in1 nose cone transducer being part of the N2K network. Although compatible with our units, the MotorGuide is not part of the Ultimate Fishing ystem.
@@lowrance I understand that. Just saying there is a world of Kayak (Bass) fisherman and you don’t have a trolling motor them. So Motor Guide XI3 36” (or Minn Kota Terrova) is the best for that set up. Unlike Garmin live scope and Humminbird Mega 360 that can be mounted to just about any trolling motor on a pole, your version is going to cost Bass boat fisherman a lot of money ($3700) to add that feature, were as adding a Helix 9 and Mega 360 to your rig is only $3000, still a lot for most of us but the most cost effective. I’m sure a lot of us set up with Lowrance Elite FS and HDS would jump on this if it meant adding a pole/transducer like the Mega 360 @ $1400. I’m not knocking the quality or idea, just think it is pigeoned holes for only those that can have a Ghost trolling motor. Where if you went down the path that Garmin and HB did you open your market up to a wider group of fisherman. I understand brand loyalty and the ultimate fishing system but losing the trolling/spot lock anchor feature to use the 360 feature and drifting off your spot/route or trolling while you are looking at structure/fish seems counter productive to me. Again I luv Lowrance products and not trying to bash the new 360. I’m just stating I think a lot of us fisherman would like an option without the Ghost trolling motor. Most people are not professional tournament fishers with sponsors and can’t afford to change out trolling motors and electronics every time a new product comes out. It is nice that fish finder companies realize we need to see what is in front of us and not what we already passed. Again I’m not mentioning this to be negative. I’m excited to see this step with Lowrance.

Its all apart of the companies long term plans. 1 get into the trolling motor market 2 make it so you habe to have their trolling motor in order to use an update to something thats old tech on a other brand. Lowrance will nickle amd dime you but With that being said i have lowrance and i like it and ive spent a lot on it and in their defense, a lot of companies do this with tech to get the must money from their infestment.
Is there a feature in the menu where you are able to "delete" the water column on the 360? Another competitor is able to do that on their SideScan... That allows you to scan the entire bottom without having the water column.
this is MrBear hudson fl. i no your doing the 360, but im new to fish finders bought a lowrance hook reveal 7 ts. i then purchesd a cmap plus. my ? is once i put the cmap card in and it loads or dos what it dos do i take the card out or leave it in???? keep trying to get answer and cant seem to get one PLEASE ANSWER THANKS
Yes, the card will need to stay in the unit as long as you want to view that chart card. You will only see the embedded chart cart without the chip in the unit, and all the features will not be active.

So the head of the trolling motor is turning, so in spot lock position the 360 is useless, yeah, not interested, doesn't make sense to have something that you probably aren't going to but at best 2% of a fishing trip.

You need to have the Ghost trolling motor to enable the Ghost 360 feature. You will also need the AI 3-in-1 nosecone transducer, ref. 000-14900-001
