Very useful as I’m not very happy with my domes and I’m thinking about getting some Lavinia brushes. I watch Jo Rice too and call that green shady lady. Seeing your demo has made me decide I think on the Lavinia inks and brushes. Thank you!

I liked the idea of trying out the different brushes and foams, intersting results, I'd prefer if you had used the one type either oxides or versafine or elements inks and if you had kept to the same 3 colour blends to get a more accurate look and feel for this tutorial. Maybe another tutorial? ❤

Over the years I have tried every type of blending tool on the market, and never had any success until makeup brushes came along. They are my #1 choice, but I also like finger daubers for fine edging die cuts, and the domed sponges for stencil pouncing.

I am learning that the Versafine Clair is not great for blending no matter what tool is used (unless the paper is super smooth). The Lavinia brushes and the little smoothies are amazing with the Elements and the handle type makeup brushes are good with the distress oxides. So I put togetherr my brush collections based on my observations. I also think the type of paper matters. I love the multifarious cards and the cardstock but the rougher papers tend to pill up no matter what. I love using the Varsafine Clair for stamping. just my opinions 🥰

Yes, the Versafine Clair ink is a pigment ink so it is not intended for blending. Elements and Distress blend so beautifully! Great observations!
