Sivagamiyin Sabatham is a Tamil historical novel written by Kalki, first serialized in kalki during January 1944 - June 1946, and published as a book in 1948. Along with Ponniyin Selvan, this is widely regarded as one of the greatest novels ever written in Tamil.
Set in 7th-century south India against the backdrop of various historical events and figures, the novel created widespread interest in Tamil history. Honour, love and friendship are important themes that run through the course of the novel.
It is also the prequel story of Parthiban Kanavu also written by Kalki

Other note, it is very clear hinduism accept other religion but others don't. This is true in 8th century through the words of மஹேந்திரா வர்மன் during war time. This is true even today as Abrahamic religions(Christianity, இஸ்லாம், judiaism) don't accept others. Proud to be a hindu!

Very interesting story. The way in which you describe is awesome. When I was very young 8th std I read ponniyin Selvan and sivagamiyin sabatham. That time I don't understand much. Now I clearly understood. Thank you very much for your good narration. Though I love tamil very much due to my profession I completely don't get touch with Tamil. Always dying with English. These stories bring my life back.
I have a request at you. Please don't use don't use same pictures for different characters.
For example, narasimha varma pallavar and Rajarajan have same picture. Sivagami and Nandhini share the same picture. Though I saw half of sivagamiyin Selvan still When I see narashinar, my mind sees only Rajarajan . That much I mingled with the story
