      I put a Roval sticker on my cheap Ali Express disc and it's like whoa.

    Thanks man for this video.i have the same wheel. It rides superbly but it's a nightmare trying to change tyre.. I've tried four different levers. I managed once to get the lever under the bead but the pressure was so great that I was afraid to force it in case of possible damage to the rim of the wheel. But having seen your video maybe I really need to just force it as hard as I can? Any tips would be much appreciated because it's doing my head in.

      The wheel is a lot stronger than you might think. It should also be said that tubeless tires will be much harder to mount than normal clinchers and likely slower too. I mounted up some veloflex records last spring and they went on much, much easier than vittoria corsa speeds. The records are much faster too, but beware that they are paper thin. I've ridden them about a dozen times or so and they still look new. That's likely only around 350-450 miles, but i've had good luck with them.
      In one of the previous comments someone mentioned using soap. I haven't done that yet, but I might grab a bar of soap and rub it on the rim before swapping on a new tire. Lastly, I recall my conti-supersonic going on easier than the corsa speeds as well. Could just be the tire you're using. Good luck!!
      ETA: make sure the bead of the tire is fully in the channel all the way around the rim especially opposite of the part of the bead you're trying to get over. And I think I said it in the video but if I didn't start 180º from the valve stem so the bead can drop all the way into the channel and not be hindered by the valve. This technique also prevents pinch-flats when running tubes. i.e. you should be ending at the valve stem side of the wheel.

    Is there instruction on where that valve adapter go when using tubes?

      If you are referring to the valve guide/protection, then I was told by Spec to run it with tubes and have been doing so for 5 years now.

    Soap might help. Still have that Japanese maple? Happy rides and be safe.

      @lai2703  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Structural carbon. No spokes.

      Thanks very much, do you think this wheel is faster than a zipp super 9?

    • @lai2703
      @lai2703  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alpescyclisme well, the Zipp is not tubeless and I believe AeroCoache's Data says that it is a faster wheel. I think it is lighter as well. but I say in the video or perhaps it's in part 1, this wheel is very wide which can cause some issues in some frames. LAI ok thanks. I ride a bh aerolight frame 2019. Do you think a can mount the 321 on this frame?

    • @lai2703
      @lai2703  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alpescyclisme I'm not sure. I am unfamiliar with that frame. What I will tell you is that if I was buying today I would strongly consider aerocoaches Aeonx discs

    You dont try it with no tube in ?

    • @lai2703
      @lai2703  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Running it tubeless? No. I don’t want to mess with sealant on this bike even though i am running tubeless on my Open and Felt Aero Road. The Vitts test just as fast with and without latex tubes; therefore, there is no real advantage to run tubeless imo. Before anyone suggests flat protection, I haven’t had sealant work at high pressures >50psi. Since I am running 80psi and likely wouldn’t be much lower if tubeless, I don’t see any reason to deal with the mess. Your mileage may vary.
      As far as mounting goes the tube is up in the tire and not affecting the beads ability to get on the rim. So, I don’t think sans tube it would be easier to mount.

      It does indeed. Too much reverb. I've made some changes to my audio recording and environment. Thank you for such positive feedback!
