Ms Linda Out in the snow. Stay warm out there. Yes I took a hit on some of my plants too. But hopefully they will come back. Yes drop those seeds. Thanks for sharing. Happy gardening 😊
Most of your brassicas should bounce back after you take the outer leaves off. Poor artichoke. Poor plantains. I think your figs will survive too. Things looking brighter on Saturday. Keep on dropping your seeds. I love it. Thanks for sharing with us.🤗💚
Wow! I am amazed by how much snow you all got there in NO. We didn't get near as much here in Alexandria, LA. I am sure you will have your garden shakened back in no time! I am learning from you which plants I can grow here in Central LA, although we are considered zone 8b, not zone 9.
Snow is a great insulator if the cold doest get too bitter. My cole crops enjoy the weather you guys have! I'm in Michigan and we got below zeros last week. All my stuff usually makes it unless it becomes an ice block. I'd LOVE to be in your position right now garden wise. 😂😂😂
Ms. Linda you are always so positive, even when things are not so great. Your garden will be back as big and as beautiful as she always was. You have been a great keeper of your garden you have set the foundation , you and Mr. Ben do have a lot of work but she will rise again. Hugs!
Auntie Linda, even though the plantains weren't ripe yet, you can still get use out of them. In Puerto Rico they make some green plantain fritters called Alcapurrias, and they're magically delicious!! 😉
Heart breaking sad. My bananas are history I think we didn’t get snow but I woke to 25 degrees yesterday. I’m in central Florence the coast. I will compost the plants I lose. We will rise and plant again.😊
You got A LOT of smoke, Tee!! The lettuce looks like they enjoyed the snow. I hope your artichoke bounces back 🙏🏾 I think your figs will survive. Can you still eat the big leaves that you took off the greens? The grocery store sells frozen greens.

Garlic and onions and herbs should recover

Oh, my zinnias don't usually survive the frost but some have reseeded after winter.

Oh ma’am, Ms. Linda, I’m sorry about your artichoke. It was beautiful.
Yes I feel that one but I'm going to Drop Another Seed💜
I'm so happy this snow has melted
Our gardens look alike...waiting for the snow to melt.
Yes Sister, We Will see what Happens.. 💜
🥺How long before the plantain tree will re-establish itself?
When we cut them down, They will begin growing back immediately!! Keep Watching 💜
