- New Donk City isn’t exactly a SUPER Mario World at the minute: there are a ton of nasty creatures roaming the streets. To try and address this, Rosalina of the Public Safety Koopa Hunters has tasked Mario and Bowsette with tackling this problem. Goomba, piranha plant, whatever: none are a match for the Mario Bros. Specifically, this red guy - he really knows how to throw a Mario party. Quite a gruesome party, but a party nonetheless.
No spoilers, but said party takes a bit of a turn at one stage. Thankfully, for Bowsette, Yoshi, Mario and Luigi, the Italian plumber goes through a bit of a transformation that saves the day. Basically, if you take the Chainsaw Man anime, and add a little bit of Mario movie magic, you end up with… CHAINCHOMP MAN!

Rosalina can see everything at any given time from anywhere. Makima can too with the right contracts.

I unironically love this. The character choices and voices fit so well. Some of them are really good impressions or even the actual VAs?
Luigi isn't close to Aki though, but that's mainly because Aki sounds his balls dropped the second he was born and he's been smoking 5 packs a day ever since

The one that works the best of them all is Rosalina.
In Mario canon she is a mysterious magic character who may also be immortal.
So, she works really well as Makima.

Mashed delivers top quality as always. I would’ve never expected Mario characters to blend this well with the chainsaw man universe but here we are. Yoshi exchanging Kon was absolutely genius.
As someone who loves Chainsaw Man and Mario,this was so well made and intricately designed and I am so happy I got to witness this. I hope it becomes a regular series.
Never would have thought Mario would fit so well with the theme and characters of Chainsaw Man, all the way down to bullet bill.

I don't know who you cast for voice roles, but whoever voices Rosalina in this, I could genuinely listen to her voice for hours on end, it's really quite soothing.

@@TheOneAndOnlyOrb Yeah I know, but crazy doesn't mean you can't just turn your brain off. Most of it isn't too complicated to follow. I feel like in Jojo I have to be way more active in paying attention since some of the Stan abilities are so convoluted (I still don't fully understand King Crimson...).
Plus the show animation is really smooth and I love watching it after taking an edible.

I have only watched enough Chainsaw man to get a little past the whole “hotel room demon” arc, but this is so accurate to Denji and Power fighting together that I wonder if the manga creator will see this and laugh

ok why does this actually fit so well, i litterally almost have never seen any actual official CSM stuff but this seems like it could actually fit, i hunger for more, also the idea of BOWSETTE of all characters being power somehow fits so goddamn well
This is incredible I love chainsaw man and mario and not to mention all the details with stuff like the chainchomps stake as the denji's engine cord and the voices are perfect and I honestly really like them all especially Mario's idk why it just works very well imo and the nice detail of the bullet bill as the gun devil at the end just 10/10

Not what I expected chain chomp man to look like but still cool. I thought his arms would be chains attached to the chomps that he would swing and rip with but I still like the design they used.
