The story is so well written here, it’s terrifying how well animated this video was, I like how Toad has incubators full of Mario’s, showing that not only Yoshi gets reincarnated, but Mario as well, I love how all of these videos have comedy in serious moments to it, the title of this video is perfection. “Yoshzilla” I love how Mario had to kill Yoshi himself, not wanting to do it, and then going to sleep, and then toad kills him, but this is not over for Mario, as we, the viewer, see the giant incubators filled with Mario’s, some things never stay dead, they always return. This video was just amazing to watch, another masterpiece from this channel.

That ending makes me think the first yoshi figured out what’s going on (with Mario) and was… not happy about it.

Toad.. The puppet king. We now know why Luigi stays away from the castle and is constantly scared.
Why he keeps leaving the mushroom kingdom... And why he can't help, but come back.
One of these days he will convince Mario to leave... Because his brother knows not the horrors that rest within the mushroom kingdom.
Sadly for him Mario does not forget their conversations... He dies as his replacement is simply never informed about them.

Luigi is coerced into acting as a guide for every new generation of Mario. It's the Agreement that allows Luigi to live so long as he doesn't deviate from his role.
He knows what he's doing is wrong but doesn't have the courage to do anything.

I choose to believe that Toad killing and cloning Mario is because he’s gone insane from his job of ‘taking care’ of Yoshzilla.
Think about it like this.
Mario saves the kingdom over and over again. This means he is basically their only line of defense besides his brother, and even then, his brother is not the bravest dude. Obviously, if they lost Mario, then it would basically all be over for the mushroom kingdom. What do you do when you have a valuable asset that isn’t temporary. You make backups. Every single one of those Mario clones is meant to be backups if something happens to the current one; whether that be Mario simply dying, or him becoming a liability. Once Mario finds out about Yoshi, this could lead to him starting to question his allegiance to the Mushroom Kingdom, or worse, deciding to oppose their kingdom due to his trust in the kingdom being lost. Imagine if the entire US military suddenly turned its guns on us and open fired. So, the only way to ensure the mushroom kingdom’s safety would be to remove this liability, aka, start over.
Wow, that was so much more brutal than I thought it would be.
This is the scariest and saddest Mario animation I’ve seen, and that’s saying a lot.
So... Does this mean the original Mario is somewhere in a secret prison as well?
Jusus! Hear Toad say so much drammatic and deep things with his particular voice hits perfectly.
Here’s a good summary of this episode:
At first: “this is wholesome”
When you find out about the Yoshi’s: “ok, he is a dinosaur so this makes some sense but is still messed up”
Then the part about the Mario’s: “WTF!?!”

Did you know: the blocks you see in Mario bros (such as the bricks, mystery blocks, etc.) are toads that got turned into blocks by bowser, which means mario is killing billions of toads all the time

The twist was that Toad is the villain that ended up causing these creatures to be ‘too dangerous to live’ by altering their DNA, he mass produces these creatures in order to maintain power and protect the kingdom at all costs, no matter how immoral that and the sins of his past must be….
Or at least that is what I think.

Mario single-handedly saves the mushroom kingdom time and time again, and as long as they have him, the toads dont have to fight. Unlike yoshi, mario is controllable, keep him happy and in the dark, and the kingdom is safe. but if hes allowed to know the truth, hes arguably more dangerous than yosh.
Even the music is unsettling to listen too. He probably created all the dangerous creatures that Mario and Luigi face every day.
He's... Probably the creator of Bowser....
That would mean Yoshi isn't actually evil and was altered by Toad to be evil!!! HOORAY!

When you realize that Toad is the biggest monster in the mushroom kingdom, just replacing yoshi and mario in every adventure.

With Mario, the Mushroom Kingdom always need another hero. It's not like Waluigi or Wario will willfully help the citizens. And with Yoshi, it's literally explained in the video that it needs to be done.

I don't think it's supposed to implement that Mario becomes a giant, it's supposed to mean that he always eventually finds out about the Yoshi's, and so they always replace him.

Toad has made a big lie on him, the yoshi didnt grow, toad was testing his pet until toad made a villain arc for the entire life in the mushroom world.

My idea for a sequel to this video would be that someone would break the chains binding _the original Yoshi_ down, and we'd have to figure out WHO EXACTLY DID IT, whilst also watching the complete horror ensue.

There is a layering error when Mario is heading toward the castle right before he realized he doesn't have his keys, one of the decorative balls on the bridge went in front of Mario's head when it should have went behind it.

This is the same thing as pointing out the animation error with Elsa's hair going through her shoulder in Frozen during her Let it Go song. Or that one of the storm troopers bumps his head on the door walking through the corridor in Star Wars.
You would be hard pressed to find a single movie that doesn't have some sort of continuity error or something and none of that really makes a difference to the movie overall. If anything, your harping on me way more than i am on that.

Yeah, that's why I don't see how killing him could be justified, as it seemed to be for the Yoshis. Mario (in this animation) clearly has empathy and a sense of good, so why did Toad think he needed to kill him? The only way a good person could be "dangerous" to another is if they threaten an evil individual or regime. So maybe the Yoshis only rebelled against the toads because they recognized that the TOADS we're the ones too dangerous to live!
