I've watched several reaction videos to this song, and I guess it's because people are titling their videos as "the first rap __" that has people solely focused on the style of the song. However, if someone really likes this song, it won't be just because of the delivery style of the message, but rather the message itself. This is one of those things where if you know what I'm talking about, then you know what I'm talking about; if you don't know, then it will just sound like static --- They are invoking the Holy Spirit to praise God, and people who are open to that will feel it when they hear it. That's a big part of why it definitely doesn't sound like modern "rap" because much of modern rap is on a totally different channel and perhaps a different "god".
they have another song called The Preacher and The Bear....that sounds exactly like rappers delight just the words change...
