I loved obito's down talk to naruto making him see how hollow his words were about not letting his comrades die which gave him a reality check and broke him down so badly. Also why i also loved Hinata & kuramas pep talk to him, especially hinata since its a war & you cannot keep moping around infront of the enemy, she braced herself on nejis death so she could get naruto to his senses, not something easy to do in that condition. Really give her the props for coming in clutch that moment.
Agreed. This was one of the best scenes in the series for me as for as reality check and it was amazing voice acting by Obito's voice actor in the Sub and Dub version.
When he repeated it for a second time I got chills. It changed from simple gloating from the big bad villain to Obito genuinely questioning Naruto’s resolve and state of mind. Genius writing and excellent voice acting 👏🏾.
Obito is far from my favorite character but even I have to admit, talking down to Naruto the way he did after killing his comrades was pretty savage. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound.

One of the most pointless deaths of Naruto... the mangaka clearly didn't have future plans for Neji so he just wiped him away. If anything Guy Sensei should've died.
I don't think it was pointless because first of all it was a War and they're fighting Ten Tails so there must be a Destruction and they decided to kill a Fan Favourite Character in one of the most shocking way. Also his death helped them developing Naruto & Hinata relationship to start Boruto Series
