Another case of, Anthony has the worst luck with QC. I've never seen the red paint bleed off like that
I will always love Billy the blue ranger, and ill always be sad how they treated him and because of that he's never made a cameo return.
I remember hearing it was mainly Jason David Frank being a a dick to him and orchestrating most of it. I think they are on talking terms now.
@@omegashenron8 I'm not sure that's true. I'm pretty sure it was production. Hence why Billy was removed from the main ranger line up in Zeo. They believed a gay person couldn't be a hero. It's honestly disgusting how they treated him.
@@theepoopydoodoo I dunno, Austin St John said years ago JDF would often prank David Yost. So I don't know the severity of the pranks or if they had anything to do why he left the show as well.

I've never been the physical kind of guy.. so.. I really identified a lot with Billy back then. Even though T-Rex is my favourite dinosaur and Kimberly was a big crush of mine, I couldn't help to just love Billy. So yeah, I think Billy was my favourite of the original team.
Jason is my favorite ranger ever. Shame to what Saban did that made the three actors quitted.

@@j.epstein7723 Despite all the money Saban was making off the show, he wouldn't give anyone a pay raise. ASJ has stated before that they made the same kinda money that you would working fast food or worse.
Sure hope the BBTS pre-orders arrive soon. They've been getting pushed back since March I believe.
Edit: And I just got to the part where the paint started rubbing off. Hope that doesn't happen with mine. Such a long wait and we still get bad QC? What's happening? Besides the obvious, of course.
Zach was my fav. Another great video, so glad I resisted collecting these.
This line started strong but has gotten weaker with each series.
I thought the shortcomings were one offs, but they keep happening.
Annoying seeing characters missing paint, and signature weapons.
Hasbro better shape up or they aren't getting any more of my money.

Yellow was always my favorite
Alot of the better figures of the line have been of the non-MMPR cast. Cybervillain Blaze, for example, made alot of fans really happy with how he was executed.
That said, you're not the first to have voiced alot of the complaints you have in recent videos, and the team behind the line acknowledged them during Hasbro PulseCon, and they seem to be making good on that. The latest wave had every figure come with more accessories than usual; MMPR Black(my favorite Ranger), for example, came with the Blade Blaster in both Gun and Blade Mode(still no holstered version, but it's a start).
They also announced a new "Monsters" subline, which is apparently being handled by the same guy who sculpted Zedd and Goldar, so that should be cool.
The new additions are nice, but I just want a standard.
The new MMPR Black was missing the red paint on his Morpher the other MMPR figures had. Why can't Hasbro have some consistency?
My first Power Rangers Lightning Collection figure was Lord Zedd, and the reason why is because I thought that he looked so cool with the detail and tubes on him. My only gripe is that they didn't paint his fingernails. I also bought Goldar, so that I can have them both on display. But as for the Power Rangers... I have more than a few gripes with them. I was expecting a lot more better quality from Hasbro when they started making the Power Rangers Lightning Collection figures, but so far it's been a hit and miss.
Oh! And it's a tye between the MMPR Red Ranger and Green Ranger for me.
My Favorite Ranger from the Original is Zack the Black Ranger!
She’s one of the better releases from this line, especially with the civilian head. They tried to make the figures look like they have a spandex suit on... doesn’t work the best in my opinion. That red paint thooo dang, now I wanna know if mine does that.
They gave us a folded and gun version with the SDCC Red and Gold Pack, as well as Ranger slayer. Also they made the MMPR Black main releases with both the fun and... wait for it... the Blade mode of the Blaster. This line is killing me man 🤣

I am getting fatigue from this line. It just feels like every figure is almost the same. I would like for more molds in each wave
I understand wanting more sculpts but 90% of power rangers are just dudes in spandex so their universal body is fitting

Definitely need to get Trini/Yellow Ranger, along with Jason/Red Ranger, Zack/Black Ranger, Billy/Blue Ranger and yes, Zordon and Alpha-5. And especially Lord Drakkon and Ranger Slayer.

The gold on my white ranger's vest rubbed off on the arms and underneath the holster and left orange stains, but at least the rubbed off easy...the paint rubs off easy
I understand that the helmets don’t look exactly like the original MMPR helmets but they are actually pretty close to the boom studios comic designs
My belt paint did that too, but only for yellow
I have this on preorder from BBTS, apparently there weren’t enough. I only missed Yellow and Black initial run. Trini was always one of my favorites along with Billy and White Ranger Tommy. Glad this one seems like an improvement. Horrible job with that morpher paint, ewww.
Cause pretty much every figure is the same this should have a baf in every wave with a unique sculpt
Jason/Red Ranger is probably my favorite since i got to meet and listen to Austin St.John in person a couple of times at my local comic/anime conventions
As for the figure; glad to see it’s a decent one. Hopefully BBTS starts sending the preorders for yellow soon, been waiting for monthes lol. Im currently waiting to recieve my replacement head for the White Dino Ranger.

I think with these mmpr figures they should have included two headsculpts for both of the actors that played the rangers. So they should have given us a Trini and an Aisha head for the yellow ranger. But knowing hasbro they probably are going to release another yellow ranger with an Aisha head to make more money.
But then they can't sell new versions later
Trini is the original that's all that matters
Can you please consider getting the psycho power ranger lightning collection team of figures they use a completely new sculpt and are for the most part good. So please if you see this comment just search them up and look at them please also yeah nice figure and great vid

Tommy was my favorite ranger. White ranger version in particular.
Growing up my brother and our two best friends would dress as power rangers for Halloween yearly. I was the youngest and and got stuck being the black ranger every time, but fuck them Zack's the best.

I bought a ranger slayer, and the handle on the bow is painted black and the paint on it constantly rubs off

Minor QC issues aside, posability with these lightning collection figures is awesome. i'm constantly switching up the poses on mine due to the implementation of diaphragm swivel and ab crunch.
That combination of joints inhibits articulation... It doesn't help.
@@AnthonysCustoms I've been getting a lot of really natural poses. I was so used to the waist swivel on so many figures, but some of them had too much a a wide cut where it would look a bit funny. Works well on that new vintage wave Spider-Man too.
I was going to collect all MMPR until I bought and then return the Pink MMPR figure which just garbage (jut have listened to your review first). The biggest offender now is Dino Thunder White Ranger.

Movie Venom also has that torso articulation so I don't think they'll change it

this line is pretty much over for me when they finish the in space rangers other than that I've got all I want from it.
Seems like the best ab articulation they've come up with is in the G.I. Joe line. Ab crunch with a ball joint at the waist. Or am I wrong?

They are planning to milk this line for a long time...so, they can't make all character good. Otherwise, people finished their line and stop buying. Yup, basically creating a lot of unnecessary waste before once in a while good release.
I saw this figure and passed. To me, if I'm buying a damn Power Rangers figure... it's gotta be either Badass (Drakkon, Ranger Slayer 2pack Jason etc).... OR Funny (Rita, Putty etc)... this figure just exists for the hardcore adult ranger fan completionists. Trini was a lameass character 😄

Also of note on the sculpting, Power Ranger suits aren't that tight. There shouldn't be such a clear buttcrack on that figure.
