@@andrewprahst2529 on one hand, I kinda wish Dunsparce never got an evolution because it never getting one would’ve been really funny. On the other, the evolution just being another segment on Dunsparce, and having a super rare form which is just another segment on it might be just as funny

I would be lying if I said I didn't like dunsparce as this niche thing which an evolution might overshadow, but this is absolutely not replacing dunsparce with some widely appealing "more complete" form, it's literally just giving us more dunsparce, kinda respecting its perfect form. I do kinda like the original though, and am still hoping for some sort of rise
@@thetreyceratops Ok, here's an idea. My thesis is that dunsparce is cave pikachu. Pikachu is rare early forest mon among bugs, Dunsparce is rare early cave mon among bats and rocks. Dunsparce can have its evolution or whatever, but the pre gets pikachu kinds of special privileges over its evolution.
Not the rise of dunsparceus I expected but the one I needed
No joke though, one of the appeals of Dunsparce was the obscure rarity, which this fits
