    Thank you for your wonderful videos. I've learned a lot. Can you recommend some very easy beginner luge locations around the areas or on the way to Zermatt and Lauterbrunnen (maybe Wengen or Mürren)? Looking for a place where total beginners can go and still have fun. Thanks again!

    Hi, we (a family of 2 adults and 2 kids) plan to visit one of the Swiss alps but not sure whether the Jungfrau region or Zermatt is better. We are not ski people but would definitely love walking around village, get some view of the landscape and the kids would love to sled and play the snow. We would prefer to go with the most economic venue as trains can be very expensive. Appreciate your advice on this. Thanks.

    I had no clue what you guys were getting ready to do, lugeing (no clue how to spell it), then I saw the sled. We call it sledding in the US. Looked like fun, but way too many people around to be doing it there. Glad you made it safely.

    • @JanPBtest
      @JanPBtest 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's properly called luge (a one-person sled). Sled is a larger vehicle of that type, perhaps for several people or to carry stuff. But then with American English one never knows 🙂

    • @TheTravelingSwiss

      You’ll have a lot of closures still in April! More crowds in June and prices will be high but weather will be the best

    Hi Guys, your videos are very well made and super helpful as I am planning ahead for my trip to Switzerland. Just some feedback for your channel. You have speaking shots of your face close up, perhaps let Alexis do more those scenes bc majority of them are Louis. Louis, I do not say this with malice at all. I have to fast forward many of your speaking scenes bc they are so close up and your teeth are off putting. Teeth is an easy fix so if you are doing vlogging full time consider adjusting them. Again, just giving feedback as I am seeing more and more of your videos. Overall the content is phenomenal.

    INSANE! Your video came in time because i'll be gg there in mid-Jan, so excited!!! Will you be able to share if it's possible to luge down from Eigergletscher to Kleine Scheidegg (after visiting Jungfraujoch) ? Do they have equipments for rental there, and how much do they usually cost? Thank you in advance and thank you for sharing this vid!

    • @TheTravelingSwiss
      @TheTravelingSwiss  ปีที่แล้ว

      In this video that’s the exact route we took! Started at eigergletshcer and ended in Kleine scheidegg. We brought our own luges but I saw several places to rent them. Depends on the location and length of time but usually 10-15 CHF to rent.

    • @joeyng2846

    Hi TTS! Would you advice going there in winter or is summer more beautiful? I am doubting to go to North Italy (or lago area) / Sud Tirol this January or Switzerland, but i am doubting if i better save my swiss money for summer haha

    • @TheTravelingSwiss
      @TheTravelingSwiss  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on what you’re interested in! If you like skiing/luge etc then the winter is a must. But summer is amazing as well if you prefer to hike, swim in the lakes, etc
