Independence Parade Trinidad 2022 - Buzz on the Streets

- This is the military parade on Independence Day 2022 in Port of Spain Trinidad when the various units of the protective services march through the streets of Port of Spain beginning at the Queen's Park Savannah. The armed forces which participate in the parade include the Police, Coastguard, Prisons Service, Army, Fire Service, Cadet Force, Air Guard, Defence Force Reserves. This parade in Trinidad is especially enjoyable as the protective services march in time to music that is set to a calypso beat. The music for the marching is played by the bands attached to each unit and so there is the Defense Force Band, the Police Band, the Prison Service Band, the Fire Service Band, the Cadet Band. It appears more people came to witness this Independence Parade maybe because it was the 60th Anniversary of Independence and so a Diamond Jubilee or maybe because it was the first parade after the two years of Covid restrictions.

I went and it was an excellent experience but i was sad because i mainly went to see my brother who is apart of the regiment but we went a little late and it was hard to keep track of them on so many streets so i came here to see him and i did. Did anyone go to see the fireworks? It looked lovely in Queens Park Savannah I am definitely going back next year and hopefully i will be marching as part of the Cadet Force great video all the same ♡♡

Everyone making noise when they see the female officer's marching 🤣. One thing at that parade is that you don't have to worry about safety.

Thanks for putting up the video I could not be at the parade so I really appreciate. Let us deal with what we don't like about the video. just my opinion anyone in the parade fat or thin should not have been mentioned . So fat boy and fat girl not so good . Put that aside video was pretty decent.
I did not make a comment about anybody's size in the video. If there was such a comment it must have been somebody in the crowd saying it and I did not hear it during the editing.
All military parade are nice and give boosts to our ego. But sorry to say right now TT is a very lawless place. Until the protective services, especially the police can resolve some of those murders, all this parade is pappyshow. I say put them on the streets to assist the police. Sorry to spoil the 60th with such harsh assessment. Blessings TT.
