Loved Nuhash's answer at 18:48 - just how his exposure to art and creativity is so unique. It's a different kind of pressure where he needs to be his own self. Great stuff as always!
"When you’re just giving a message, you’re not an artist, you're a delivery boy" That right there is a quote and that's why you'll do great things in future, hopefully. A good one!
Misir Ali to be a really dark and twisted Netflix Webseries is a fascinating idea! something like Hannibal?! Trent Reznor in the scores? Bombs!! Then Tool, Laterulas, Uncut Gems, Good time, DANOB?!! Man.. he listens to Danob and Tool, watches Hannibal, uncut gems. Enough said!
Great show Jon. Never felt like you are hosting the show, you were just having a friendly chat. I thought, that is the way it should be. Really appreciate. I have a request though, would love to see Sakib vai team from Geek Myth on your show. ❤️
The whole conversation was so diverse and I can feel that Nuhash Humayun has experienced some colours of life because he seemed so happy and very broad to the personal questions, really enjoyed the video. Thank you, Jon.
Bro he actually watched king of Staten Island. And he put that movie in his list. Like I thought I was the only dumb kid in this region to appreciate this movie and actually understand that Pete Davidson and Judd Apatow made an absolute gem. Mad respect!!
I have seen so many podcast in my life. But this one is different. Specially in this episode where Jon bhai & Nuhash bhai is talking about the depth of music & filmmaking. I didn’t realize how fast this 55 minutes went. In the end I was like I want to hear a little more from these beautiful people. In my personal life I am going through a tough time. Thanks to this podcast for making my thought process alive again. Jon bhai, Love you ❤️🙏
the way podcast’s been goin, viewers would never want to reach the last mark. thanx for bringin nuhash humayun sir also & makin the podcast stay in its peak.
There's a very interesting contrast between him and his father; reading about humayun ahmed's early life, you'd see that he was also into listening to music and pacing around the room during working on his creations. It's like a modern personification of the predecessor
Sad part about podcasting in Bangladesh is 70-80 people Doesn't even understand the mean of Podcast. As I have been successfully podcasting for over 1.3years now you should link this podcast with buzzsprout or maybe anchor.fm. Just to reach much wider audience with apple podcast, google podcast, beaker, spotify, radio public and much more.
What a wonderful and thought provoking conversation! Would love this more if the entire conversation is in English! Listening to Bangla words in between is stressful for brain, or I am not just used to it! It reminds me of some Bollywood people who are incapable of making a whole sentence in English, and they bring some Hindi words in between. I am sure.. this is not the case for Jon and Nuhash :D
The audience for this video is people from Bangladesh not America, It's insulting to Bangla, If everything is in English. you're rendering Bangla useless by ignoring it like that. It's shameful
Just imagine Nuhash Humayun adapting a Misir Ali book! even thinking about this is giving me chills !! Please God, make this happen... I won't ask for anything else in my life...
I am very good in English speaking, listening and writing. But I believe when you are targeting a Bengali audience , less English sentences is better to attract them
Nuhash Humayun will make a great director someday, mostly for people like us. Because of how he thinks of putting music before making an actual film based on any story. Beautiful thinking, go long!
Loved the Podcast! I think that's the silver lining of this Pandemic, we had more than enough time to self-reflect and realize what matters the most in our lives.
This is like a wishlist of movies, web series, and music I will watch or listen through this year... Nice show Jon vai.. Wish there were more content like this. It is good to see our familiar faces talking. ❤️❤️❤️
"If you take Inception's soundtrack and place it over other massive films, you will find that it still somewhat fits. Do the same with this score and it won't ft anything. That's because the music is so in tune with the film's mood that it's as unique as the film itself." This is what my thought is over the track The Social Network.
Marty Never said Marvel Movies arent MOVIES or he hates those movies he just said they arent Cinema.Cinema And Movies are different. Many people misinterpret what he said about marvel movies. He even said that he likes those movies but they arent cinema according to him.James monaco also said something like”Cinema is the Aesthetic part of motion picture and Movies are the commercial aspect of cinema” in his book “HOW TO READ A FILM”.
This is absolutely the funniest one, to me the best one after the episode with Shomi Kaiser". It totally looked and sounded like a casual conversation that needs to be watched with a cup of tea and I actually did that. I like this guy, Nuhash, specially for his honesty to say what he really feels about everything he has been asked for in every show without hesitation and also for his liking for my favorite band "TOOL". It was absolutely a "fun-to-watch" show to be honest. Thanks Jon bhai for bringing all the nice people from different arenas!!
I finished the whole misir ali collection. Those are mostly dark psychological stories. It has to be adapted by David fincher. His mindhunter is something very close to misir ali.
Love the podcast. I know you are going for an unscripted feel. But you do keep asking questions to get the converation going. Why not just jot the questions down and make the conversation flow instead of like ending 3 times only to remember another question.
Bhai, u din watch Uncut Gems, Good time? directed by Safdie Brothers. Go for it. One heck of an anxiety inducing experience. Also watch Robert Pattinson films if u havent missed The Lighthouse from 2019.
I am waiting for your Misir Ali Series.. you are so right about the mood of Misir Ali books. They are dark but I had never seen that on natoks. Only you can do justice with Misir Ali adaptation. I am looking forward to it.
Loved Nuhash's answer at 18:48 - just how his exposure to art and creativity is so unique. It's a different kind of pressure where he needs to be his own self. Great stuff as always!
He's not his father stop glorifying him.
We all watched the disaster called pizza bhai.
want to see Zohad Reza Chowdhury here on your show . Loved your podcast.❣️

How good is this! Commented on the last video to see Nuhash Humayun and here he is. Should I go and get a lottery?

Yeah, I wasn't expecting him to listen to Danob
unorthodox
He was a fan of Bangladeshi old Machine Man, Tarzan type of movie too, which was really surprising.
Even tondrabilash can be a really good psychological movie
Great show Jon. Never felt like you are hosting the show, you were just having a friendly chat. I thought, that is the way it should be. Really appreciate. I have a request though, would love to see Sakib vai team from Geek Myth on your show. ❤️
We want a part 2 with Nuhash!!!
Is it ever possible to bring Bassbaba Sumon bhai? I can't even imagine it.
YES PLEASE, Even if its over facetime im so down for this
if that happens, I'll be the happiest
Listen to the people Jon bhai ☹️

" Say no to the king not to the beggar"

I just amazed how intelligent is Nuhas....I have learnt a lot of facts....
Introverts are cool & that's a fact.
One of the most insightful interviews aired. Loved hearing both of these gems sharing their beautiful mind.
I like this kind of frankness. They are sharing what they really feel and talking about things that fascinated them. Love it.
Really amazed to see so many positive comments ! Great show..
Waiting for this podcast long time. I am big of Jon and Nuhash personality.
Keep it up boss♥️
