The amount of work can vary but since we have 4hr seminars on Tuesdays and Fridays, you pretty much work constantly towards the next workshop as soon as you finish one 😅 the supervisors say to treat it like a full time job (it is actually a lot of work!!)
I was bored after my second year exams and randomly did a commercial law course with a law student friend, then she signed me up to a mock trial competition so I ended up doing that 😂 I thought they were pretty fun and a good challenge so started looking into courses haha
It's difficult to say really, I have enjoyed studying both. I still love reading and English Lit was my favourite subject at 18, but by the time I graduated I wanted to do something new. The law conversion courses are a lot more practical and geared towards people who want to train as a lawyer afterwards which is exactly what I want to do! I probably would have enjoyed doing an LLB course at uni but I'm glad I've had the chance to study both subjects
@@GeorgieEllen10 That's a good decision .I would like to study in English Literature, and now I am going to complete my IELTS to study abroad to fulfill my dream.
Congratulations on your accomplishments thus far. I am looking forward to seeing your journey through the MA. I was intrigued by the ConLaw/Eng Legal System workbook you referenced. Is that available through a Newcastle bookstore or other distributor? I'm interested in seeing the practical problems and exercises that help with learning the substantive law. Any advice on how/where to get a copy? Thank you so much.
omg imagine the library being that quiet, the Leeds uni libraries could never
I swear it was full just after, people appeared out of nowhere 😂
I think you'll find I'm also just skilled at dodging people when I'm filming 🤪
Awesome video! Would you mind sharing your study timetable? Like how you dedicate time to each module per week?

@@GeorgieEllen10 is it true that the lectures are online and you have to watch them
How did you decide to switch from literature to law? This campus is soooo beautiful!!

What's your plans after your Law degree?
To take a year out and work, then apply to train as a solicitor :)

It's made by the University of Law! they're available online but not sure if anyone can buy them or if they're just for students 🤷🏻♀️
How many years its course
1 year - the PGDL is two terms, and the MA law is 3 terms total
She gave us a hot turn 🥵
