This piece was created for students of the Indiana University School of Public Health Middle Eastern Dance classes in the spring of 2020. The course is a one-credit elective. It was planned as a group piece for a recital at the end of the semester, however due to the Coronavirus pandemic, that event was cancelled and all the classes shifted to online only. Veil dance choreography by Donna Carlton. Donna was the first person to teach Middle Eastern Dance for college credit in the state of Indiana.

FANTASTIC! I use to work at this Egyptian imports store and part of the job was selling costumes and such to belly dancers, that's when I fell in love with it. Of course being a musician and having studied flamenco guitar with borrows heavely from the middle east, it's more the music than then dance for me but honestly they complement each other so well.
