I just received my second edition and when I ordered it I didn’t realize it was the second. I was gutted because I love the pink edging on the first edition! But I’m so happy to have a copy at all. Thank you for the walkthrough!
I wasn't aware of these new versions of this deck. I had been trying to keep away from buying decks. Out of sight, out of mind approach! 🤣I do have a vintage copy that I had "adopted" though. These are just beautiful! Thanks for the great review, Simon!
I've got a 1972 Hoi Polloi in good condition I bought from a seller on eBay a while back. I like (or should I say, dig) the 70s colors & the old English font on the cards! Treasure mine, but so glad folks are enjoying these Moon Baby reduxes! Thanks for sharing, Simon! 😁😁😁
Same, And they have their own unique charm don’t they? It’s wonderful though that those who can’t get it can have this, or like me, can I have the best of both worlds
@@the_hermits_cave They're very familiar yet unique at the same time. So happy I found a 70s edition back when I did. The price was pretty reasonable too. :)
Wow what a lovely video. I’m new here and digging deeper into tarot. Don’t get misguided by my name. I loved your video concept and positive attitude. ❤. How many decks do you have? Is the guide book with just quick reference?

You’re welcome ☺️
Those green edges - MY FAVORITE COLOR!
They worked so well with this deck!
Great comparison Simon thanks 🙏 Is a good work of recreation of the Hoi Poloi tarot, both editions are beautiful 🤩 ❤
He’s done a fab job with it, for sure 😍
Beautiful, an elegant deck with a little bit of 70s funk. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome, lovely 😊
Sooper dooper I really like that lime green!!
Stunning, isn’t it? 😍
I have the first edition only (No.915). For me I prefer the more subtle colours esp the baby powder pink edging with the pale (duck egg?) blues

Love the two versions, such a stunning deck! And great video again :)
Ah, you’ve just seen it 😝
@@the_hermits_cave Haha I did 😎
I like the 10 of cups. It looked kind of groovy.
The borders are slightly narrower on the second edition as well.

No difference at all 😉
They're funny but I prefer the Hoi Polloi best
