This is not the kadala curry which is used with puttu.we use roasted coconut paste ,some places people use only chilly power,coriander powder and garam Masala powder .we never use raw coconut paste in kadala curry .I know it very well because I'm a Malayali

Why do you call this Kerala food. Puttu is eaten by Thamizh makkal in Thamizh Nadu, Srilanka , Malaysia and Singapore . Same with appam.
