My dad stole the first book from under my pillow when I was ten, because he thought it was satanic. He read it, then gave it back, and became a huge HP fan thereafter.

I mean, her books made millions of people so amazed that even it's been a decade since her final book came out, people still couldn't forget about it and still love the magical world she created a lot The books are so wonderful that people are still willing to pay for new editions of the books to collect, and there are also new readers everyday

I honestly recomend her books. One of the best parts of her writing style is that she knew a lot of parents were reading to their children so she made it enjoyable to both perspectives.
I think its interesting that her series wasn't withought controversy. Despite being a children's series there was a lot of backlash because the series "promoted witchcraft" (despite Rowling herself being a Christian and writing Christian themes into the later novels). The lesson is: a little bit of controversy is not always a bad sign

Plus he said it’s really just a kids book and not to be taken that seriously. He actually likes the movies himself, I could never convince him to read the books. So whenever I put one of the movies on, I’ll often find him staring at them with me for a half hour. So it’s not sinful to like Harry Potter, that juts people taking it to far. Btw I’m a hufflepuff 😉 And she likes Minecraft, I want to be her best friend now 😂
