Few years back I got rid of most my belongings, got on my motorbike and set off towards the horizon. It ended up being an incredible, year-long, 25,000km journey across the world.
This was my 'signature' song when i reached the Eastern Himalayas. For a month i was driving through the mountains without ever seeing them - visibility was zero. Then finally, one day, i put on this song, and as i took the first turn on that beat up mountain road - sky opened up and there they were - quintessential, Himalayan snowy peaks.
Few times before or after I've felt so small and insignificant - yet also absolutely at peace with everything and anything. This song always brings me back...

Whenever i feel nostalgic i listen again this song and i remember the things i saw for the last time before leaving the house and the town i used to live.. All the landscapes,the sadness,and how nervous i was , how uncertain things were.. and the memories i left behind.

Listening to this song during one of my darkest moments in life. Road tripped to Texas for the World Series in 2020 and it brings back so many memories. Memories of the great trip with friends, but also painful memories of what I was going through at the time..
